I have had a strong interest in nature since my childhood. My family loves to spend time adventuring in the mountains and woods. Through my studies and design experiences in this field, I have found greater interest and passion in designing. Landscape architecture excites me because it provides the opportunity to create a space for people, where functional and aesthetic value within the design helps improve the sustainability and public health. My passion is to create public places that promote social engagement and ignite communities, and help people live life harmoniously with nature. This is the goal I wish to challenge and achieve in my career. Arts and photography have influenced me to be creative and empathetic. They inspired my life and way of thinking. This also applies to landscape design. I look forward to creating meaningful places and better environments for people to live in.

SOUTH CAMPUS BROOKS MALL EXTENSION REDESIGN LOCATION: UNIVERISITY OF GEORGIA
The site locates at the south campus of University of Georgia. From the site inventory, we found the exiting problems includes pedestrian and vehicles coming into conflicts, very few congregation places and water drainage issues. Which demonstrate our goals for the design are provide easy access for pedestrian and vehicles, more green spaces for people gathering and relaxing, also use grading to resolve the drainage problem.
This redesign project hinges on the concept of edaphic manipulation, which refers to the manipulation of soil and earth in reference to agricultural practice. The project focus on turning the pavement back over to the people and drawing its visitors into the center of the site in order to address both the circulation problems as well as the lack of aesthetics on site. By doing so, to create a space that can become a congregational space for students and a highlight of the historic campus.
DETAILED DESIGN
CONNOR HALL GREEN SPACE TERRACING
CENTER QUAD AND NATURE WALK The Connar hall area is the highest point on site. We want to use radiated terrace to spread out, and create the congregational space. Based from our concept, we want to emphasis the man made versus nature. The circle represents the nature aspect, and linear and rectilinear represent man made. By using those design elements, to create a space that students can enjoy and relax.
