Group Painting Exhibition ‘LIVE IN HARMONY’ Fighting Cocks Group Yogyakarta Enam orang seniman Fighting Cocks Group Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari Zam Kamil, Moch Basori, Nurul ‘Acil’ Hayat, Dedy Sufriadi, Rocka Radipa dan Jitka Kampak, menggelar pameran karya-karya dua dimensi di Warung Yayaa Artspace, Bali. Tajuk pameran kali ini adalah ‘Live in Harmony’ dengan mengetengahkan karya-karya kontemporer bercorak ekspresionis, impresionis, abstrak, hingga etsa (etching). Seniman-seniman alumni Institute Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta dan Prague Academy Fine Arts (AVU), Republik Ceko, ini dikenal sebagai seniman-seniman multidisiplin yang memiliki keunikan. Selain melukis sebagai kemampuan utama, mereka juga biasa membuat karya-karya tiga dimensi (patung maupun instalasi) dengan beragam media seperti kertas koran (newsprint), kayu, tekstil, metal, kaca, resin, batu, tulang, brass, dsb. Live in Harmony sejatinya mengangkat interrelasi manusia modern yang dewasa ini kian berjarak dengan lingkungannya dalam perspektif kosmologis. Konsep ‘harmoni’ dimaknai sebagai interrelasi manusia dengan alam (kosmos), yakni makrokosmos (alam semesta) dan mikrokosmos (diri manusia). Bagi orang-orang Timur, kata harmoni adalah kunci untuk mengerti relasi antara manusia dengan alam, sebagaimana dipahami bahwa dalam jiwa manusia terdapat miniatur alam semesta yang berjalan selaras alur simfoni kehidupan. Bertrand Russell berpendapat bahwa setiap orang untuk selamanya terlibat dalam tiga jenis konflik -- melawan alam kodrat, melawan orang lain, dan melawan dirinya sendiri -- dan kemudian tiga jenis konflik itu diidentikkan sebagai masalah-masalah alami, sosial, dan psikologis. Jiwa yang penuh kecemasan, nafsu dan kebencian merupakan nada-nada sumbang dalam simfoni universal. Ketidakseimbangan dan ketidakharmonisan pada akhirnya berujung pada penderitaan dan bencana; wabah penyakit, cacat bawaan, banjir, meningkatnya suhu udara, kebakaran hutan, kekeringan, gagal panen, pencemaran air dan udara, peperangan, penyimpangan seksual, perceraian, pelanggaran hukum, bunuh diri, dsb. Para seniman memaknai pemikiran harmoni tersebut menurut sudut pandang mereka masing-masing. Nurul ‘Acil’ Hayat mengangkat tema-tema persoalan psikologis dengan menggambarkan suasana alam kejiwaan individu yang mencoba meraih harmoni melalui cara terapi (remediasi masalah kesehatan) dengan melakukan suatu aktivitas secara berulang-ulang. Dedy Sufriadi mengangkat alam psikis individu yang tersesat oleh impian-impian dan harapannya sendiri. Namun Zam Kamil percaya dengan adanya sosok liyan sebagai penyeimbang, yakni pasangan hidup. Kehidupan yang berpasangan merupakan hukum alam yang berlaku bagi semua jenis kehidupan, baik kehidupan makhluk hidup maupun kehidupan benda mati. Pandangan serupa nampaknya diyakini oleh Jitka Kampak yang dalam prakteknya seringkali membuat karya lukis berpasangan. Dalam karya-karya seri toxic, ia ingin menggugah perasaan publik melalui gambar-gambar buah busuk. Rocka Radipa melalui karya-karya etsanya mengungkapkan harmoni alam secara harfiah. Juluran batang-batang tumbuhan merambat adalah pertanda adanya ‘kemungkinan’ dan daya hidup. Maka daya itu pula yang memungkinkan tubuh manusia (mikrokosmos) mampu melakukan akrobat sebagaimana maksud Basori dalam karyanya. Live in Harmony akan berlangsung di Warung Yayaa Artspace, Jl. Jitka Kampak was born in Prague, Czech Republic, 1974. She was graduated from Prague Academy Fine Arts (AVU) majoring fine art (classical technique) studio Prof. Z. Beran and studio Prof. M. Rittstein. Exchange stage in Scholl of The Arts, Netherland. Visiting lecturer of postgraduate level in the State University of Makassar majoring sociology of art. Now, she lives and works in Kampak Studio, Tabaria, Makassar, Indonesia.
