We are organising a very special Birthday event on Friday 8th January 2016 featuring a live link-up with Graceland for the Elvis Day Proclamation Ceremony, the UK Premier big-screen showing of the high definition and newly re-mastered special edition of ELVIS: That’s The Way It Is at the O2’s Cineworld and an after-hours visit to Elvis at The O2 with Birthday cake and a glass of bubbly. And we’ll almost certainly sing ‘Happy Birthday’! The event will commence with a meet-up at 3:00pm, the live link-up will be at 3:30pm and the movie will commence at 4:15pm. Following a 3 year break (and after being ‘moaned at’ by legions of Elvis fans w Twixmas ‘fix’ of Elvis), we are re-instating the Elvis Twixmas Break...but makin more exciting by incorporating it with the previously announced Charity Ball planned for November but postponed because it would clash with the ‘If I Can Concerts. As always our Twixmas Break allows us some Elvis fun during thos days between Christmas and New Year when we just want to escape from visit are fed up with watching repeats on the telly and really do need someone else t washing up.
The Elvis Twixmas Break is the antidote to all that. Starting on the Wednesday with Dinner followed by an all-Elvis Disco we’ll rock’n’roll our way into Thursd when, after a leisurely breakfast we’ll show Elvis on the big screen. The afterno for you to explore Leicester or to head to the nearby shops – remember the Sal started in most stores.
Thursday night brings us the Elvis Charity Ball – a glass of bubbly, a sumptuou followed by a live band and another all-Elvis Disco. And the Friday is yours to heading home. No hurry, savour the lovely breakfast first then relax before mo or sightseeing, and perhaps a drink or lunch with Elvis friends before the farew
