Introducing
VALLEY REALTY PROFESSIONALS
Our feature this month is not just ONE realtor - but instead a whole team - one that I am sure needs no introduction as they are a common sight all around Yamhill County! So that said, let me introduce you to Teri Steneck & her team at Valley Realty Professionals! I had such a fun time visiting with Teri, Kim, Jessica & Fiona one Friday afternoon. What fun stories & adventures I heard about. Watching them work together as a team - as they moved about the office, the discussions of files & upcoming deadlines etc.. They moved and thought as one. It was a TRUE vision of what a Real Estate TEAM is like. I was very impressed! It was a fun day!
YCRG: Teri, what inspired you to become a realtor & when did you open Valley Realty Professionals? I have always loved the peace of the wilderness. Whether it was running on a beach in So. California in a cove that no one knew about. To what I did yesterday in Oregon. I was born in Newberg. So, this is home for me. We listed an amazing 26 Acre dividable piece of land on Ladd Hill. This has been in the family since 1977. I got to walk the property yesterday with one of the owners. This is the kind of hiking I like to do. Not walking in circles on a track. Seeing the deer in the distance and seeing where their dad used to work on his property. Finding little pieces that are still left of the memories that they had. The feel of being somewhere that sometimes no one has been for years. This is my passion. To make it a little easier for the families when they want to sell their properties, or have to sell because Mom or Dad passed or sometimes, they just want to move on to a New Adventure. I started Valley Realty Professionals in 2010. And now I have my perfect TEAM. The Valley Realty Team. And I am excited to tell you about them.
YCRG: Can you share with us what is so amazing about your team? I am so blessed to have these women on my team.

YCRG: What inspired you to become a realtor? And why Valley Realty? “As a kid, my mom used to buy home plan magazines. I remember spending hours thinking about each home plan, and thought about how I would decorate and live in that home once I became an adult. Playing house, just in a non-traditional way that most children would play house.
Valley Realty is a well known company in the Willamette Valley. I knew that once I became a realtor I would want to stay connected to the local residents and businesses here in Yamhill County, and be part of it’s growth and prosperity. I am grateful I chose Valley Realty to start my real estate career, as it has been a fantastic team of ladies to work with, and I am excited to see where the future takes us!” YCRG: What is your favorite part of being a REALTOR & part of The Valley Team? “I enjoy working one-on-one with client’s! Everyone has a story to share; from where they live, to why they are moving. These stories last with a person for a lifetime, I love being able to do my small part in helping these families move on to their new adventure.“ YCRG: How long have you lived in the Willamette Valley? “30 years.“

Fiona Sanders
Listing & Staging Coordinator
YCRG: What inspired you to become a stager and listing coordinator? And why Valley Realty? ‘‘I have always been passionate about architecture and design, and always mentally redecorating every place I went into. I’ve been referred to as the “idea girl”. I’m a visionary. I love pointing out the positives and possibilities of a property that maybe someone hasn’t thought of or thought they needed at first. My goal is to streamline getting your property listed and make it look amazing. I chose Valley Realty because Teri sold my house a few years ago. It was a complicated sale and I saw her conduct herself in honesty and integrity in a tough situation. I told my husband later that I wanted to work for her someday.” YCRG: What is your favorite part of being a stager and listing coordinator & part of The Valley Team? “I love going into a home and seeing the architecture and features and picking out my favorite things to highlight, then I love making that house look amazing! I want someone to walk in and fall in love with it. Being a part of the Valley Realty team is amazing. I love the way we girls work together. We encourage each other, and help each other. We have each other’s back“
