GRAPHITE ROD http://www.raresgraphite.com The graphite rod is a non-metal product and very common items for graphite manufacturers. It is a necessary welding consumable before welding in a carbon arc gouging cutting process. It is made of carbon, graphite and an appropriate binder and is extruded through a baking process at 2200°C. After being coated with a layer of copper, it has high temperature resistance, good electrical conductivity, and is not easily broken. It is suitable for cutting metal into a shape that meets requirements. Graphite rods are often used in electric heating bodies for high-temperature vacuum furnaces. The maximum operating temperature is up to 3000°C, and they are easily oxidized at high temperatures. In addition to vacuum, they can only be used in neutral atmospheres or reducing atmospheres. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is small, its thermal conductivity is large, its resistivity is (8~13)×10-6 Ω·m, and its processability is better than that of SiC and MoSi2 rods. It has high temperature resistance, extremely cold and extremely hot, and its price is good. Cheaper.
