The Backpages - July 2018

As of Vol. 9, Yer Scene is taking further steps to connect the underground/DIY community. We've wanted to enable musicians, bookers and even visual creators and hopefully create a way of making impactful connections.

Thus, The Backpages were born. Here, in every issue, anyone can post an ad or "help wanted" of sorts. If you're a band looking to book a show in Philly or need someone to open up their set within the next month, contact us. We'll toss it in to the zine. We're aware this is rather large, but we're starting it humbly. I found Give 'Em Hell Productions in a music group and after talking to them, knew they were people to work with. So, if bands are interested in working with them (They're based in Portland, Oregon), they're contactable.

Again - we know this is big. However, if it works and we make even one dope show? Find one photographer work? Find one artist a design job? We succeeded. If you're interested in getting involved, as always - we're an email or message away. We are striving to make sure we're providing safe connections. People who share similar ethos is important. We want everyone to be safe and have fun.
