Yeshbina RahapalMy name is Yeshbina
It’s nice to meet you,
I am currently a third-year undergrad student.
I see life as the canvas for creating moments, and architecture serves as the stage where these moments unfold.
Whether it’s taking center stage or playing a supporting role, architecture is ever-present, shaping our experiences.
My most significant memories often revolve around cherished moments with loved ones, and invariably, the spaces we inhabit become integral to these memories.
Thereby, I aspire to contribute to spaces that foster meaningful connections and leave a lasting impact on our lives and memories.
My portfolio shows a collection of my academic works that best demonstrate my values.
Hope you enjoy!

WIthin the Balmandir’s embrace lies an architectural odyssey that transcends the realm of the physical, delving into the essence of thought and the enigma of human existence.
Anveshan seeks to embody the essence of exploration, not only in the physical sense but as a profound philosophical journey.A narrative unfolds, spanning from the crystalline clarity of transparency to the veiled complexity of translucency to embracing the profound mysteries concealed within moments of opacity, ultimately to a point of openess.
Just as explorers chart unknown territories, the museum invites visitors to embark on an immersive voyage through the depths of perception, unveiling layers of truth and beauty as they navigate its undulating curves.
Enigmatic and thought provoking covered courtyard confront the mysteries that lie at the heart of exploration where realms of opacity reflect the depths of human introspection. A constant reminder that the world around us shapes our perspectives, just as the play of light filters through windows, creating a dynamic interplay of inner and outer worlds.
View through museum
An ode to clarity , the inception of exploration through transparency mirroring the moment when curiosity sparks and the path ahead is crystal clear. The unfettered view mirrors the innocence of our initial questions, a pristine canvas upon which the story of understanding begins to take shape. A canvas of innocence explore life’s questions with clarity.
WE KNOT
Project : landscape design
Date : Feb, 2024
Location : Pulchowk, Lalitpur
Competition Project
Just as the fibres that make up a single peice of rope, when joined with others become larger and stronger, we human beings, we knot.
Observing the rope from a distance, we only see a single object its only until we get closer we can see the multiple strands. Just like that ‘WE KNOT” the park for human interaction and connection attempts to tie each other, to show the connection that exists broadly between the large groups which we classify as humans.
Amidst towering structures and concrete jungles, there exists an oasis of tranquility and connection known as WeKnot—an open space and urban park meticulously designed to cultivate human interaction. WeKnot goes beyond greenery and play equipment, striving to become a haven where the threads of community are tightly woven, and individuals find common ground.
SCENTOPIA
Project : mixed use design
Date : March, 2024
Location : Hattiban, Lalitpur
Supervised by : Ar. Prajal Pradhan & Ar. Chandra Hakumila Prajapati
In our modern urban landscapes, where the pace of life is frenetic and the cacophony of stimuli overwhelming, Scentopia offers a respite for weary souls seeking solace in the sensory symphony of scent.
Aroma when thoughtfully integrated into architectural design, has the power to enhance our perception of space and enrich our overall experience. Just as the various elements of a symphony come together to create a harmonious whole, so too do the scents blend seamlessly, creating a multisensory masterpiece that captivates the imagination and uplifts the spirit.
A sanctuary where workers and visitors can escape the monotony of the industrial grind and immerse themselves in a world of sensory delight. Each zone within Scentopia is meticulously curated to evoke a distinct mood or atmosphere, from the invigorating aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the break area to the calming scent of lavender in the relaxation zone.

In the aromatic trails that wind through the factory, we discern echoes of our own journey through life , a path marked by twists and turns, illuminated by moments of beauty and grace. In the convergence of these trails within the production area, we witness the alchemy of creation—the transformative power of human endeavor to shape the world around us.

As urban landscapes evolve and cities pulse with ceaseless activity, the adaptive reuse of historical structures becomes a canvas for innovation and cultural preservation. In the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal, the Juddha Barun Yantra, known as the oldest fire brigade, is poised for a transformative journey.
Embodying the idea of a refuge, a place to observe, and a space to pause amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life. Yet, intriguingly, the place itself does not claim significance rather, it allows the surrounding context to shine, gaining meaning only when placed in the broader urban tapestry.
The iconic curved facade, reminiscent of architectural traditions from centuries past, becomes a bridgehead an entry point to a space that honors history while accommodating the needs of the present. As pedestrians traverse this bridge, they become temporal voyagers, pausing at seating areas that offer moments of reflection creating a bridge to linger and a space to observe the cityscape.
From the the arched transitory space, where time seems to pause and perspectives converge, confronted with silhouettes of the temples of Basantapur Durbar Square, standing as stalwart witnesses to the passage of ages. In juxtaposition, the bustling market space in front speaks to the dynamism of existence, the ceaseless flux of life’s transactions and interactions.

Vatapi, The museum of Archaeology, competition organized by The Drawing Boaed featured on competitions.archi Social media page
In Vatapi’s halls, where time whispers low, Ancient craftsmen’s tales in sandstone flow. Carved deep in rock, their artistry sublime, Echoes of history, frozen in time.
The museum stands, homage profound, To those who carved tales in earth’s hallowed ground. Its facade, a canvas of scars and crevices bare, A testament to resilience, a story to share.
Placemaking
In Kathmandu’s embrace, where time’s whispers fade, Placemaking emerges, a call to serenade. Amidst urban sprawl and crowded streets, Lies the promise of transformation, where hope meets.
From the alleys forgotten, where shadows loom, To the squares alive, with history’s bloom.
Placemaking weaves its magic spell, Breathing life into spaces, once silent as a bell.

For in Langtang’s icy heights, existence finds its stride,a fleeting moment immortalized, in time’s relentless tide.
In every snapshot, a glimpse of profound,Its snow-capped peaks, where eternity’s found. A photograph captures but a glimpse, as fleeting as the skies,In its pixelated capture, a whisper of ancient cries.
So let us contemplate this mountain’s grace, and the wisdom it imparts in every embrace.
Along the path less traveled, where footprints fade to air, Langtang’s mountain whispers, its presence ever there. Through valleys deep and forests green, it beckons with its call,a journey to the unknown, where the soul finds its thrall.
In every twist, in every turn, a story to unfold,of courage, hope, and wanderlust, in landscapes vast and bold. And on this path less traveled, where few dare to explore, the heart finds solace, the spirit soars, like never felt before.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving......What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
— Aaron SiskindThrough the lens a glimpse fragments of humanity suspended in time with each image a mosaic of existence, a glimpse into the kaleidoscope of joys, sorrows, hopes and fears painted on the canvas of existence becomes a tapestry woven in the threads of countless emotions, each hue painting a portrait of human soul and in this silent dialogue between the observer and the observed a profound connection is forged. Capturing the moments with the essence of what it means to be a human, letting the world unfold before them like a story waiting to be told.
