Residential: Quintal Residence Contemporary design To design a contemporary space that is warm, comfortable and calming. Reflection of light has been abstracted to lines and angles. By using color and texture, warmth will be brought into the space. Light is infinite, therefore, light will travel throughout the home through the windows and reflecting off finishes to provide light to the space. Implementing certain nature principals, recycled materials, water recycling system, wellness and other design strategies into the home will enhance the occupant’s quality of life. Programs: AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3Ds Max

Commercial: Chief Records Concept: Chief Records is an up and coming records company. The interpretation of sound is produced from a reverb or sound wave of different lengths. We will abstract the path of reverberation through acoustical features that follow and interpret sound into architecture. The acoustical features will flow much like a sound wave ultimately being absorbed into the space. This project was a group project with three team members. All of the tasks I completed for this project are the following: Furniture plans, electrical plans, finish schedule/plan, and first floor elevations.. Programs: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe 3ds Max, Color Pencils

Institutional: Canyon Center School for Autism The objective is to design a school for children, ages 3-22, with Autism. Concept: The essence of a caterpillar is in the way it uses its entire body to flex and move from one location to the next. The curves and bends of the movement of its body allows it to transition smoothly anywhere it desires to go. When it needs to change, it cocoons itself in order to take the necessary time to enter its state of change. We will apply these elements of a caterpillar to our design by using form, appropriate materials and finishes, and space to the design of the school. Programs: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe 3ds Max

Thesis: Riverside Hotel Boutique Hotel Concept: Riverside, California is known for its historic orange groves and to tie in the old with the new, the motif formed when an orange is cut in half will be abstracted to lines, curves, circles, and angles. These elements along with the classic style will be carried throughout the boutique hotel to create a unique and modern environment that blends in to the location. Programs: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe 3ds Max, SketchUp, Illustrator, Kerkythea, InDesign
