Me Luckily I was born in a warm and supportive family. Thus, when I was small, my parents gave me enough freedom and space to let me explore and find my own interests. Since elementary school, I found great interest and passion in the field of multimedia. The first time I browsed the internet I had the thought of “Why are there webs?” and “How are these web been made?” So I learned how to design and write a web of my own at the age of 11, by using HTML and CSS. When I was a bit older, I was obsessed of 3D animation, due to a series of games designed and made by Square Enix Company. I admired these game designers and 3D animators, and wished that I could design and create such stunning characters and games. With these spark of interest, it lightened my mind and became my motivation of learning and designing graphics as well as digital image processing. I even participated in a competition of Hsin-Chu city during High School, and won a prize of the “Hsin-Chu impression” digital design. Though, My major in college isn’t relative to the field of digital technology or design. I applied and studied in the “Digital Content and Creative Application program” and learned more professional details and knowledge of digital design.

Strong learning Skills Capable of learning different skills and knowledge efficiently, therefore, when I’m interested in something. I would first learn on my own initiative,then seek for professional instructions and often achieve a certain goal. e.g. Website design, 3D modeling, Audio editing. Positive learning Attitude No matter what kind of obstacles, or in any learning or working environment, I’ve always face them with a positive attitude. Strong sense of responsibility Always finish work full-hearted, and be responsible of one’s duty. Received recognition from co-workers and managers during work. Enjoy Challenges I enjoy facing and challenging myself, learning skills and knowledge from different fields and struggle to improve oneself in every aspect. With the great passion and a challenging heart, I can achieve the goals I set up for myself. Creativity With a Creative mind and heart, I have designed and wrote numerous of RPG game script and teaching plans. And also, I’ve created plenty of creative advertising slogans and graphic designs.

Research Proposal
The first time that I had an impression about interactive design is attending an exhibition named “The Delight of Character Festival�. In the exhibition, there were sections of interactive area, you could dance and move to create Chinese characters. A camera and a screen and the brilliant game, it amazed me and let me knew a little more about interactive design and gained great interest in them. For my research, I would like to choose to design a project. As for my greatest dream is to design and create a game as exquisite as the games that Square Enix company had created. Furthermore, is to combine the 3D animation technique with interactive design and make it a more attracting game. Nowadays there are plenty of 3D RPG games with fantastic and spectacular story lines. I have an idea of making the RPG more realistic for the player, I wish to design and create an interface that can let the player participate in the game furthermore than just clicking the buttons. Instead one player could use there body movements to walk and talk in the game. I wish that I could design such interactive and attrative game. And the following would be my study plan: Short-term goal: Practice and strengthen my programing ability in 3D graphic designs, e.g. 3ds Max, Maya, After Effect and etc. Strengthen my basic skills and learn different techniques for making a better complete 3D project. Med-Term goal: To take courses of digital multimedia skills, interactive programing design, digital image processing, audio editing and music production, man-machine interface design and etc. Gaining more professional and useful knowledge via these classes is the best way to improve myself in every aspect. Long-Term goal: Besides learning, It would be great if I had the chance to work in such field. I would seek for internship to get more prepared and ready to enter the professional work field. Being myself to a new and higher level and that one day I could become a 3D interactive game designer. If I have the honor to enter the graduate school, I believe it would be one step closer to fulfill my dreams and with the great enthusiasm in me, I can conquer the obstacles and soon achieve my goals.
