Special Events

House & Garden Walking Tour: August 3 From 11 am to 4 pm, participants will be welcomed into five magnificent homes and three lovely gardens, all on Main Street. Nantucket By Design: August 3 to 6 As the NHA’s premier summer fundraiser, Nantucket by Design celebrates the island’s unique influence on American design with engaging keynote speakers, unique discussions, a partnership with The Nantucket Summer Antiques Show, a design panel, and more! Nantucket Preservation Trust August Fete: August 11 Join Nantucket Preservation Trust for the 17th Annual August Fête: Quintessential Quidnet in the historic hamlet of Quidnet. Take in stunning views of Sesachacha Pond and enjoy cocktails and hearty hors d'ouvres from Nantucket Catering Company, raw bar by LegaSea Nantucket, and live music by The Shep Cats, all while celebrating Quidnet's unique character. Boston Pops on Nantucket: August 13 This annual fundraiser for Nantucket Cottage Hospital brings thousands of people together at Jetties Beach for an unforgettable night of entertainment. All funds generated during the event stay on Nantucket to sustain the hospital’s year-round commitment to the health & wellbeing of the island community. This year’s special guest is Marc Martel, bringing the music of legendary rock band Queen to our island. Singing the national anthem will be Nantucket’s Skyler Wright, recording artist and cast member of the hit TV show Dexter: New Blood. Pops Tickets are available at NantucketHospital.org
