Aelita Andre Aelita Andre, (born 2007), is an Australian born abstract expressionist painter of Russian heritage. She first began to paint professionally from nine months old when her amazing acrylic on canvas paintings were included in her solo exhibition in Australia at age two. In essence she embodies the rich expressive artistic impulses that the fathers of modern art such as Kandinsky and Klee drew upon over 100 years ago to create the entire abstract art movement. In her paintings Aelita is not concerned with representation or figuration. She is far too broad and free-spirited to confine herself. Some works may allude to thematic concerns and employ found objects but they are blissfully contumacious. Aelita is overwhelmingly interested in colour, texture, shape, line as a raw expressive ingredient in the process of creation. Bubbling, powdery, glistening surfaces intrigue her experimental mind and she finds the infinite dazzling variations of the interplay of colour immensely exciting. Every stroke, smear and splash is the indelible signature of innocence the subconscious mind 'writing' its own existence - in the moment - onto a canvas using paint and found objects.

Today Aelita Andre is an internationally recognized artist whose solo exhibition at Agora Gallery, New York, in 2011 sold out in seven days. Created with the joy and free spiritedness of her youth, her expressively colorful abstracts are remarkable evidence of her spontaneous intuitive impulses. Intention and message are at their most abstract in her art. Her art has been described as wildly imaginative eruptions of color in a kaleidoscopic phantasmagoria of paint and found objects. In an article published by Agora Gallery, Aelita Andre's works were referred to as, "extraordinary

From her 2011 sellout solo show in New York, Aelita has eager collectors of her work and fans around the world. Kieron Williamson I was a typical energetic toddler. I loved playing in the mud, investigating bugs, finding sticks and generally exploring the outdoors. My parents have always been proud of me, as despite being quiet and reserved at school, I have always been studious, achieving good grades and great comments in all of my subjects. Living in a first floor flat with no outside space meant that my love and passion for the big outdoors was satisfied with bike rides, trips to the North Norfolk coast, the local country park and Letheringsett ford, I needed space to run around and burn off energy.

At playschool I simply loved the sandpit and not a lot else, my parents would draw dinosaurs for me and I was happy to colour them in, but drawing was not really my thing. However, I first began drawing independently during our first family holiday to Cornwall, England in May 2008. Inspired by the boats in a nearby Bay at Gillan, I asked my parents for a sketch pad. The very next day I was drawing pictures of boats and as the holiday progressed I began to add backgrounds, scenery, hills and houses. As time progressed, so did my interest in learning artistic techniques, I had a lot of questions about the differences between oils and watercolours, how to put a picture together etc, my parents didn’t have all the answers and were not afraid of asking locally for help. Mum and Dad will admit that they are not artistic. They do, however, enjoy art and collect
works by Norfolk artists. So, when I started to ask for help with putting paintings together, my questions were answered by a host of local artists who were happy to spend time with me and talk me through lots of different aspects to painting. My Mum says that from day one, I showed an instinctive ability to mix colour. I loved trying different media, watercolour, acrylics and then oils and pastels. I have always insisted on using good quality adult art materials. I was never happy with poster paints! After our holiday in Cornwall, I used to spend an hour a week with Carol Pennington at ‘The Last

14 歲的天才小小攝影師 Fiddle Oak（本名 Zev）已經有許多令人 驚艷的作品！來自美國的 Natick，他從 8 歲開始接觸攝影，與她 的姐姐 Nellie 一起合作構想、整合拍攝理念，但拍攝與後置都是 由 Zev 獨立完成，將他的相機取名為 Betsy，他也常以自己作為攝 影主角，畫面中看得到成熟中還帶有點幽默童趣的視覺表現，他 的作品在網路上發表後引起不少關注，也為他帶來了獎學金與工 作機會。

攝影師 fiddle oak 透過鏡頭，將自己的身高比例任 意縮小，把羽毛化作翅膀、橡實當成沙發，又或者 是隨著楓葉飛行，與觀眾一同重新探索這些微小 事物的全新可能性。儘管 fiddle oak 年紀輕輕只有 14 歲，但許多攝影、後製技術與觀念已相當純熟， 影像作品中也表現出極具超現實主義的個人風格。
