Young Indian Culture Group, Inc. offers classes in other Indian languages, in addition to Hindi. Our Indian language classes are offered to students from the Long Island and Queens areas in New York. Our board of language teachers includes Gambhirah Chaitanya for Sanskrit, Seruvamani Krishnamurthy Natarajan for Tamil, and Ramakrishna Kantamneni for Telugu. They also learn how to read and write Sanskrit once they are able to recognize vowels and consonants. Mantras will also be taught from the original text in Sanskrit. The aim of level one is that the students should be able to learn a Vedic Mantra from the original Sanskrit text. In level two, sandhi rules will be introduced through the method of Panini grammar.
