Concept of design

While engaged in innovation, I believe that closely examining the past is one of the ways in which one can initiate new modes.As someone who majored in history at university, and thus possesses a deep background in history, I anticipate my creative works being significantly impacted by the idea that one can foresee the future by reviewing the past. I anticipate integrating ancient wisdom with contemporary industry to create styles and modes and produce works that are both practical and endowed with meaning.

Based on the concept of the rocket, a sub rocket could support the rising of the master rocket. Therefore, improvement could be made by having two sub-elevators support one master elevator. Then, with the support of the sub-elevators, the guests inside the master-elevator could be quickly classified and sent to different floors.

Under the prevalence of industrial design products, a large amount of product garbage with intact structure which could not be re used is produced. Take this kind of eyedrops vials for example, as people could not reuse them, unconsciously, an astonishing amount has been accumulated, which is a great waste of resources.
For some of the indoor plants, averagely, a sunshine duration of 6 to 8 hours is required. If there is no sunlight outside or the plants are not placed near the window, by meansof this, the environment and natural protection effect could be achieved and a warm yet modern green design presented.

I imitated the shape of Chinese lantern and shield to make them into the night lamp. Besides providing lighting, this kind of “night lamp� could be used as the supply of the light source for indoor plants within the sleep of common people which lasts for about 6 to 10 hours per day. Stick a large amount of vials in a row with a thin stick and make use of the original designed covers as the tenons which could adjust the range. Put the light sources up and down, respectively. Then, reduce and moderate the light sources with a layer of eyedrops vials and put the plants inside. Taking this as a unit mechanism and change the space with the tenons could create the most ideal shape according to the size of the plants.

In the society of the Chinese, regarding the meaning of the prayer beads, it’s not only for counting the numbers of times in saying the prayer, but for caressing people spiritually to achieve the effects of having a peaceful disposition and mind. No matter how noisy the outwards environment is, as long as you turn the beads, the annoyed mind could be calmed down.
Viewing from the perspective of Chinese medicine, there are three important acupuncture points on the wrists, respectively. The main functions are also to make the sap and body calm and steady. Accordingly, I have the 14 beads in the Buddhism which represent 14 fearless intentions turned into three rolling mechanisms that are distributed in these three points. When the blood pressure goes down, it could be noticed from the pulse detected by this watch.

Nowadays, for the rental living environment of the young populati on in the city, as the living space is not large, usually, the size and practicability of furniture must be taken in to consider ation. The most basic furniture would be the bed and sofa. The sofa bed is already quite popular in the market because it occupies less space. However, in the structure and size of the sofa bed, is it possible to increase the functions while maintaining the space-saving design? What is the third kind of furniture which is most commonly used then? It’s dining table and dining table & chair! In the family of the young population, usually, some friends would come and dine or gather at home. Therefore, with simple conversion, this product could have the third function.

Have the sofa work with four blocks and it could be easily converted by hand through simple frames, mechanism and tenon design. The table is designed in the bottom layer of the sofa. Lift it when converting the sofa to the dining table.

In terms of the bed, similarly, combine the four blocks and erect one of the armrests. As for the sofa, erect both of the armrests. Then uplift the longer part asthe support for the waist.

When the department store is crowded, the efficiency of the elevators would be largely reduced. For the guests who are going to the top floor from the first floor, they must face the condition that there would be guests coming and going in every floor. Because of this, they could not reach their destination instantly. Similarly, the guests who are going to the first floor from the top floor must face the condition that there would be guests coming and going in every floor. Guests of each floor not always have chances to go inside elevators. Then tradition methods is that using two elevators to assist each other.

Take a seven-floor building for example, first, when rising from the 1st floor, the master elevator would rise floor by floor towards the 2nd, 3rd, 4th floor, etc. However, when the master elevator reach the next floor, both sub-elevator No. 1 and 2 would have the guests inside the master elevator slipped over the next floor and sent to every higher floor more quickly and then meet the master elevator without picking any guest down. Meanwhile, the master elevator would have already reached a higher floor. For instance, when the master elevator picks up the guests on the 2nd floor, the guests inside could use the sub-elevators to go to 4th ~ 7th floor and slip the 3rd floor (the 1st sub-elevator will take care of the 4th and 5th floor while the 2nd sub-elevator would take charge of the 6th and 7th floor). The reason lies in that the next aim of the master-elevator is to send the guests to the 3rd floor. After the sub-elevators have picked up the guests, they would come down to the 3rd floor from the higher floors to gather with the master elevator and then continue to rise in the same way.
When going down stairs, it works in the same principle. However, there are still some differences. First, when the master elevator is going to the 3rd floor from the 4th floor, the 2nd sub-elevator will head towards the 2nd floor and 1st floor while the 1st sub-elevator will start to rise and send the guests to the 5th, 6th, and 7th floor. After the guests get into the master elevator, they could then make use of the 1st and 2nd sub-elevators to go to every floor quickly, When the sub-elevators reach each floor, they would just gather with the master elevator without taking guests.
