The work presented in this portfolio covers two years of academic and professional practice between 2012 and 2013. These experiences gave me the opportunity to work with different types of design in the landscape. I started to realize and understand what landscape architecture is and developed beginnings of a method. Based on my Fine Arts background in undergraduate school, I always think about how to bring the art into landscape design and my method is an evolution. I test ideas in my works and it brings an amazing result. Then, I bring the meeting of sustainability and art, raise the aesthetic value of sustainable design, invite more people into the world of sustainability. Trying to build more connections between human and nature is the task for me. In the end, these ideas can be seen in the presented works.

Muncie GM Plant LA 645 Planting Design, 2013
Description: It is well known that the manufacturing industry is a symbol of city development. However, many brownfields are inside cities as heavy industry declined or factories’ left. The former GM plant is one of these cases. To generally rebuild this site, because of the long-term pollution, we begin by growing plants to deal with water issues and toxic chemicals. A design goal of healthy ecological place for neighbour hood residents is in the design criteria. It is necessary to provide accessibility for residents and visitors. For prospective results, our goal is not only to come up with a planting design plan with nice scenery, but also to benefit the environment. The function of the site will be diversified. It will involve recreation, relaxation and public participation.
