People now can live longer than before because of new technologies. Meanwhile, we are living in a knowledge rich era, where we run the risk of consuming unnecessary or even false information.
As a result, people are inclined to trace back the origins of their product, where their clothes are being made and what they are consuming.
Both the raw food movement and slow food movement have been on trend for more than a decade because people want to adopt a healthier lifestyle and live longer. So people begin eating locally and eating organic food, moving to gluten free and dairy free.
From this trend, we can see there are a majority of products that are labelled with organic, healthy and %100 made slogans in the market. However, as mentioned before, we are in an information rich period, yet there are still doubts about the veracity of the information we are presented with.
Have you ever thought of using the raw food or material to make your own cosmetic and skin care?
You can act like an apothecary or alchemist to create your own product.
The HEKA Lab, in 2013, presented The Alchemist’s Dressing Table, which allowed amateurs to create their own cosmetics through the kit.
Consumers are now embracing the philosophy of natural is good and fresh is better, so they tend to buy more natural and fresher products than previously.
The movement began with our daily food and drinks and is now shifting to cosmetics and skin care. In the foreseeable future we will find more products that are made from raw food and natural ingredients.
