A GIFT TO THE CITY | MOVING ART MUSEUM Master Studio D, University of Melbourne 2013 | Scott Woods Beyond the White Cube | A response to the white cube museum typoloy, this project speculates the many possibilities and answers to the video art works it accommodates. The manifestation of art meets architecture by establishing a unique relationship between a range of artworks by Liam Gillick, Mark Titchner and Sean Gladwell, fuelling the concept of a curated journey based on a dĂŠrive experience.

A GIFT TO THE CITY | MOVING ART MUSEUM Master Studio D, University of Melbourne 2013 | Scott Woods Beyond the White Cube | The curated experience derives from the instrumental relationships between the artworks, from one pavilion to the other, and from the context to the larger city to generate varied meanings and multiple layers of user intepretation.

ARCHITECTURE AFTER ART | UNGARDENING Master Thesis Studio, University of Melbourne 2014 | Dennis Prior Material + TIme | My thesis project explores architecture in forms of a personal investigation within narrations and enquiry on time, and its progressive beauty in urban and natural materials. Growth and decay become not merely results of a cyclical rhythmic movement, but an embodied narrative journey which changes its transcient experiences across time.

INSTALLATION | INORGANIC CORAL Modular Design | Production | Exhibition | Taylor’s University 2011 A textural play of light and shadow; touch and sight in celebration. Modules of architectural skin made of unwanted styrofoam fruit wrappers, manipulated and stitched together to form coral-like clouds, hovering in the air.

MIFFY TRAVELOGUE Photography | Travel | Documentation | Netherlands 2014 A portrait series inspired by a friend with her Miffy postcard, documented and styled obsessively in narrative backdrops across Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and WUtrecht in Netherlands throughout the travelling studio program.

DOORS Photography | Documentation | Netherlands 2014 Often overlooked, a door is the key architectural element that establishes the first physical contact before access is granted. This is a photographic series of domestic doors taken within Schiedam neighbourhood in Rotterdam, edited monochrome to subdue the palette while bringing out the quirky personalised details.
