OBJECTIVE/

Cameras are now a part of our normal lives, but in the 90s, people were using “real” cameras to take photos and develop film in stores. The goal for this project is to design an exhibition for filmbased industries to introduce the old techniques and knowledge of cameras to new generations.

APPROACH/

Although we don’t use the old techniques to develop photos anymore, it is a good thing to let people experience and know the history of film. This project would cooperate with Kodak, which was the biggest film company in the 90s. The visual language uses black and white to give a sense of nostalgia for the beginnings of photography.

目標 / 相機是我們現在日常生活中常用到的一個東西,但是在九零年代, 人們要用到真正的厚重的相機去拍照然後到照相館去洗底片然後選 ENDNESS

照片。這個作品的目的是要設計一個展覽會介紹一些有關照相的歷 史和技術供人們體驗和學習。

解決辦法 / 雖然我們現在已經不會再運用到舊的洗照片技巧,但是讓更多人知 道相機的歷史和體驗洗照片的技術是一件很棒的事。這個作品會跟 九零年代最大的照片行業柯達合作。顏色基底會用黑白呈現年代感。

OBJECTIVE/ The goal is to redesign the Singapore Air brand identity, and make the brand stand out from its competitors. Design the new identity to emphasize how Singapore Air is the airline for its entire nation.

APPROACH/

Culture means a lot to the people of Singapore. To emphasize their national identity, I used the wings and the color palette from traditional Singapore culture to rebrand their airline logo. The wings have three parts. The top represents the departure point, the bottom represents the destination, and the middle represents the customers of Singapore Airlines, or SA. In all, the logo means that SA will give their customers a safe and pleasure journey. 25 / 貳�

目標 / 本次設計的目標是重新朔造新加坡航空的品牌形象,使品牌從其他 競爭的航空中脫穎而出。 設計的新品牌形象必須詮釋出新加坡航空 ENDLESS

的國家特徵,融入民族的特色。

解決辦法 / 文化傳承對新加坡人的意義重大。 對於新的形象設計,我選用的翅 膀作為新的圖標,顏色選擇方面選用的是新加坡傳統文化色系。翅 膀由三個部分組成,上部分代表起點 ; 下部分代表是終點 ; 中間的 部分則代表新加坡航空和顧客,意思是我們航空會竭盡所能帶給顧 客安全和愉快的飛行旅程。

OBJECTIVE/

The goal is to refine a brand system to integrate into a communication projects. Emphasis is placed on concepts, designing compositions and creating meaningful and engaging design solutions for complex problems.

APPROACH/

In the age of technology, people basically rely on mobile phones for communication, even dating. Now there are a lot of exist dating apps available already, but most of them care only about people’s appearance. The design approach was to make this app as easy as possible for people to communicate with each other in order to find their soul mate.

解決辦法 / 在這個充滿科技的時代,人們基本仰賴手機去交流。雖然現在已經 有很多約會的交友程式,但幾乎每一個都是從人類外表出發去設計 的。我想要開發一個新的約會程式,一個人們不用外表去當第一評 判標準,一個為每個人量身打造的約會程式。

OBJECTIVE/

The goal is to rebrand or create a wine label for a nonexistent company. I want to combine the Chinese “Four Symbols.� These four important spiritual guardians are Azure Dragon, Vermillion Bird, White Tiger and the Black Tortoise. These are the inspiration for a new sake, named Delusion.

APPROACH/

My idea for this project is that these four guardians protect this sake. The four symbols have their own color, which are blue, red green and purple. Using these as the base colors of the bottles, I used a rubdown technique for the labels.

的守護神。東青龍,西白虎,南朱雀,北玄武)和日本的酒創造一 個新的酒品牌” 幻覺 “

解決辦法 / 我對這個項目的想法是酒的守護神。 運用選取的四象神獸,創造出 獨一無二的日本酒。四象神獸本身就擁有他們自己代表的顏色,分 別是藍色,紅色和綠色。我的想法是用這些顏色當酒瓶的基底,然 後運用轉印的技術來製作我的酒瓶標籤。 56 / 伍陸

OBJECTIVE/

The goal of this project is to design a playable board game. The final deliverables include: a board, a box, a manual, playing cards, and five characters. I designed this project based on Alice in Wonderland.

APPROACH/

I really liked fairy tales when i was a kid. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite. I also love to read Japanese comics and cartoons. My childhood is full of these two things. So I decided to combine these two to create a Japanese style Alice in Wonderland board game for this project.

角色。我選擇的用童話故事愛麗絲夢遊仙境作為本次項目的基底。

解決辦法 / 我小時候很喜歡看童話故事,愛麗絲夢遊仙境是我最喜歡的童話之 一。我也很喜歡日本漫畫和卡通。這兩樣東西充斥著我整個童年。 所以我決定融合童話故事和日本卡通,創造一個日本風格的愛麗絲 夢遊仙境來完成這次的桌遊設計項目。

OBJECTIVE/

The goal for this project is to design a creative dessert cookbook. I chose to design a book of recipes with tea as the unifying ingredient. I wanted to introduce the relationship between tea and desserts.

APPROACH/

The book is split into five chapters: an Introduction, the history of custom of tea, the different kinds of tea, and the techniques of combining tea with dessert. Each chapter uses different color to distinguish the difference between the different teas.

OBJECTIVE/

The goal of this project is to experience the process of solving problems that people often face. One of them is how people spend lots of time waiting in a line. So I wanted to create an app that helps people save time when they are shopping groceries.

APPROACH/

The process began by interviewing seven people from diverse backgrounds, then creating two personas based on those interviews. Then, I created a user journey and build the architecture of the app based on this research. I sketched the interface, created the wireframe, visual board, heuristic evaluation. Finally, I created the prototype.

花很多時間在排隊。現在有很多人都會選擇網購,但是對於一些雜 貨,我們還是喜歡出門自己選購。但是在尖峰時段 免不了要排很長 的隊伍。我想要設計一款手機程式可以在買東西的過程快速付款, 這樣就可以解決排隊的問題了。 解決辦法 / 在我開始設計之前,我採訪了七位來自不同專業領域的人,並從中 結合實際訂製了兩個角色,每一位代表了不同的潛在客戶群。對於 這個程序,我首先列出了設計的定位,再來創建了用戶使用流程, 並根據已有的內容構建了訊息架構,接下來是繪製草圖,創建線框, 啟發式評估,最後創建程序模型。 90 / 玖拾

008. From Future to Infinite. PROJECT/

OBJECTIVE/ This is a group project. We build a company called Avant. Avant is an innovative store providing the vision of future. With the advanced 3D printing technology, everything we produce and sell is dedicated to creating a better future for people and planet. Our sub-brand inculded: Cura for health, Viktor for gaming, Form for smart home and Nuture for food. APPROACH/

We began by creating the brand and sub-brand names around the concept of future tech. We did the mood boards for each brand, and created brand stories and personas. We then conducted market research including store locations and target audiences. After all of this, we started on labeling and packaging of all the lines. It was important to differentiated the sub-brands, yet have them all fit into a complete visual system.

解決辦法 / 我們為人們製造創新的產品。我們首先先想好品牌名稱,然後開始 畫草稿。我們每個品牌都做了情緒版和品牌故事,還有人物誌,挑 選了商店地點和市場調查。做足了前續作業,才開始進入包裝設計。
