Born and raised in Taiwan. I find great joy in creation, especially when my art brings warmth and happiness to others. Through each brushstroke and colour, I discover a little more about myself and where I stand as an artist.

I imagine the spring spirit as a big gentle fox that carries people on its back while showing them the beauty of the forests. I merged lively grass, yellow daisies, and a Sakura tree with the fox to create a breezy spring vibe.

A bouquet is a way of showing gratitude and appreciation. It can lift anyone's spirits, even if they get it for themselves. I want to express the pleasantness of giving flowers as well as the ones receiving in this illustration.
Picture reference The aesthetics are inspired by a flower shop in my hometown, which I often visit in the weekends.

Today's society is full of baits and fishing nets. It makes me feel like a tiny shrimp in the ocean, where I could get caught and cooked into a meal. With this thought in mind, I created this girl-to-shrimp transformation sequence for the psychology of art project. I use the colour of raw blue shrimp to colour the girl, to contrast the cooked bright red shrimp.

Pict u r e r efere nce My idea came from an ancient tree trunk in Alishan National Forest. It was long dead but new plants grow from it. This gave me inspiration that although we've been through hopeless situations, we should remain hopeful and try our best to live on.
Th e fin al l ayout & in itial colo u r pla n I often use a little girl and a fox as the main characters in my creations. The little girl is the insecure me, who is about to come out of her hiding place. The fox symbolizes the state I wish to become, the curiosity and the need for freedom that pushes me to come out of my cocoons.

T h e P r o ces s o f Ma k ing Ve nt ure Out In 2020, I was depressed and uncertain about the future, I did not know where to go and was hesitant to try anything. ‘Venture Out’ is a work I created to encourage myself to go out and pursue my dreams without fear.
In the process of Kitchen Litho, multiple redraws are required. I gained a stable hand from redrawing the brush strokes. I also improvised and added a butterfly to symbolize opportunity.
During printing, I experimented with different colours and was pleasently surprised by how the results turned out better than expected. With every layer, the colours become more alive and vibrant than before, Kitchen litho is an unique technique that I’m very fond of.

Wh er e d o es the light le a d to? For this printmaking project, I had two different ideas at the beginning. One is a girl running behind a fox in an empty street, and the other is moth girls hugging a glowing orb in the forests. In the end, I merged these concepts together and created 'Wonder into the Unknow'. The Fox
A fearless creature that is always curious and likes to explore.

Picture reference
My original idea was to portray the feeling of helplessness and alone. So I drew myself lying face down in the woods as the sketch for printmaking.
The night light at my home inspired the concept of Fixation. When I come home at night, it makes me feel safe.
Final concept I decided to add this to my moth girl series, where a lost moth stumbles upon a glowing sphere and stays in the dark forest.

I designed this postcard for the 2022 year of the tiger. In Chinese tradition, tigers are animals that can scare off evil spirits. With the title “厄運退散” (Bad luck go away) and fierce tigers, people can put it on their walls to scare off bad luck. Colour mock-up
About the character 2021 wasn't a good year for a lot of people. I took a different approach from my original style and made the character more fierce with a tiger mask, and she is going to keep fighting next year.
