DAY 1: WILLIAMS

Welcome to the quaint town of Williams, Arizona! Famous for being the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon,” and its location along historic Route 66, it’s the perfect place to begin your eight-day adventure. (Overnight in Williams)

DAY 2: WILLIAMS TO GRAND CANYON

After having breakfast at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, board the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. With close to two dozen expansive, breathtaking viewpoints, the South Rim will provoke childlike wonder and a sense that the world is so much more magnificent and grand than you imagined. DAY 3: GRAND CANYON

DAY 4: OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK

Ride the Grand Canyon Railway back to Williams, where you’ll enjoy an included dinner at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel before boarding Amtrak’s Southwest Chief to California. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 5: SAN FRANCISCO

DAY 6: MUIR WOODS AND SAUSALITO

Today, you’ll take a tour of the scenic Muir Woods and the charming town of Sausalito. On the drive to Muir Woods, you’ll cross over the Golden Gate Bridge and then disembark in the serene forest filled with towering redwoods. Once you’ve taken in all the natural beauty of Muir Woods, you’ll spend some quality time in Sausalito, a stunning seaside village that is home to many artists. DAY 7: YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK

DAY 8: SAN FRANCISCO
