DAYS 1-2: DENVER

Welcome to Denver! Check into your hotel and settle in. Then, explore the city. On day 2, experience Rocky Mountain National Park, celebrated for its wildlife and spectacular vistas! On your journey back, enjoy photo opportunities and a stop for refreshments. (Overnight in Denver)

DAY 3: DENVER > MOAB

Travel to the Amtrak station and board the California Zephyr for one of the most beautiful train trips in all of North America. As you climb through the heart of the Rockies and further west through the snow-capped Sierra Nevadas, you may find it hard to disagree. After your arrival, your transfer will take you to your hotel in Moab. (Overnight in Moab)

DAY 4: ARCHES AND CANYONLANDS

National Parks

Today you’ll have a full-day tour of two spectacular national parks: Arches and Canyonlands. Arches National Park is a geological treasure featuring 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the world famous Delicate Arch.

DAY 5: MOAB > SALT LAKE CITY

Travel to the Amtrak station and board the train to Salt Lake City. Take in the unparalleled views of Utah’s gorgeous Wasatch Mountains as you head west on the California Zephyr. (Overnight in Salt Lake City)

DAY 6: SALT LAKE CITY

Salt Lake City is yours to explore today. Your included tour will bring you to many points of interest such as Temple Square and the Mormon Tabernacle, as well as providing amazing background on the city dating back to its founding by settlers in the 19th Century. (Overnight in Salt Lake City)

DAYS 7-8: SALT LAKE CITY > YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

Take your included shuttle to West Yellowstone, widely held to be the first national park in the world. On day 8, enjoy a tour of the Lower Loop, which includes Old Faithful, Isa Lake and many more amazing attractions. (Overnight in West Yellowstone)

DAY 9: OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK

Your shuttle will take you back to Salt Lake City where you will board the train heading to San Francisco. (Overnight onboard Amtrak.)

DAYS 10-11: SAN FRANCISCO

Today’s train journey travels through the American West before arriving in the “City by the Bay.” On day 11, use your included hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour to visit Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, Pier 39, Union Square and other landmarks. Your included CityPASS also provides some amazing admissions for activities like a visit to the California Academy of Sciences or a sightseeing cruise around the harbor. (Overnight in San Francisco)

DAY 12: SAN FRANCISCO

Continue using your hop-on, hop-off tour and CityPASS to experience San Francisco at your own pace. Relax tonight with an included dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf. (Overnight in San Francisco)
