Spend a full day in Munich, exploring the many famous sights and attractions of the Alpine city. Explore the Marienplatz at the heart of the city and take in the city views from the top of the Town Hall. Of course, no visit to Munich is complete without a visit to a beer hall! The Hofbräuhaus am Platzl is undoubtedly the most famous!
After breakfast take the scenic train ride from Salzburg to Vienna. Be sure to have your camera ready as you pass through some of the most beautiful parts of Austria. On arrival in Vienna, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay.
DAY 6 VIENNA Spend the day exploring beautiful Vienna. Much of Viennese cultural life can be found in the Museumsquartier, home to an array of museums, cafes and restaurants within a former imperial stable building. Take in a performance at the Spanish Riding School - one of the oldest riding schools in the world and home to the famous Lipizzaner horses. Vienna also sits on the banks of the Danube, the perfect spot for a scenic boat cruise!.

Spend another morning in Munich before taking the train to Salzburg. On arrival in Salzburg, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Salzburg is your first taste of Austria, the mountains… The Sound of Music!
