DAY 1 - SYDNEY Welcome to one of the world’s most beautiful and exciting cities. Visitors are spoilt for a range of experiences and attractions to enjoy. A bustling city centre, amazing architecture, golden beaches, beautiful weather, and a world-famous harbour are just a few reasons to travel here.
DAY 2 - OVERNIGHT ONBOARD INDIAN PACIFIC Board the iconic Indian Pacific train at Sydney Central Station, a cross-country journey you’ll never forget. DAY 3 - OVERNIGHT ONBOARD INDIAN PACIFIC Wake up in the Australian outback. Through the big window of your cosy, well-appointed cabin, watch as the red earth landscapes unfold in the outback’s expansive desert. This morning’s optional excursion to Broken Hill, a former mining town, will introduce you to the region’s attractions, such as the Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery. DAY 5 - PERTH This morning enjoy breakfast onboard in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant Car as the train passes through Avon Valley on its final stretch into Western Australia before arriving in cosmopolitan Perth shortly after lunch. This evening roam around on your own exploring the city’s attractions.
DAY 6 - PERTH Take to the water this morning with a scenic cruise along the Swan River to historic Freemantle, then over to the very special Rottnest Island. Home of Shipwrecks, spectacular white sandy beaches, unique wildlife and a fascinating and colorful history your tour will encompass the whole island including the Wadjemup Lighthouse. Enjoy lunch at Karma Rottnest before beginning the journey back to Perth for the evening.
DAY 7 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN PERTH Check out of your hotel and continue with your onward travels.
DAY 4 - OVERNIGHT ONBOARD INDIAN PACIFIC Your afternoon stop in Cook is the perfect opportunity to get off the train and stretch your legs while looking around the ghost town (population four). Back on the train, relax and recharge in your cabin before heading to the lounge or dining carriage. In the evening, you’ll have an off-train experience in the Nullarbor plain
