DAY 1 - VENICE SIMPLON - ORIENT EXPRESS
Make your way to London Victoria station for the journey of a lifetime aboard the historic carriages of the British Pullman. Enjoy a Champagne fuelled three-course lunch en-route to the coast, then once in Calais a brass band and red carpet welcome you onboard the Venice-Simplon-Orient- Express. After settling into your cabin head for dinner in one of the opulent dining cars, then perhaps celebrate the evening with a cocktail in the bar car.
DAY 2 - VENICE SIMPLON - ORIENT EXPRESS
Enjoy breakfast in your cabin as the train makes its way through the alps. Lunch is served as you cross into Italy and bid farewell to the historic train once you have arrived in Venice. A boat will transfer you down the Grand Canal to your hotel, where you will stay for the next three-nights. DAY 3 - VENICE
Discover the rich history of Venice this morning with a skip the line tour of the Doges Palace and beautiful Golden Basilica. In the afternoon perhaps watch the world go by on St Mark’s Square or treat yourself to a drink in Harry’s Bar - the home of the Bellini.

Spend a day at leisure in Venice today and explore at your own pace DAY 5 - BERNINA EXPRESS TO ST. MORITZ
It’s an early start from Venice to Milan and Tirano today, but the onwards connection onboard the world-famous Bernina Express is worth it. The famous red train will snake its way from the palm tree lined valley of Tirano and Poschiavo up through snow covered mountain peaks and over spectacular bridges and viaducts to St Moritz

From May - October your included Engadin card can be used for the funicular and cable-car ride to the vantage point of Piz Nair and some spectacular views across the Engadin valley. DAY 7 - THE GLACIER EXPRESS
The Glacier Express takes you over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels. The views from the panoramic windows you pass mountain peaks, deep gorges and idyllic mountain villages is often breath-taking. DAY 8 - GORNERGRAT DAY TRIP
Travel on the historic Gornergrat cog railway over bridges and through a fragrant forest of fir tree. At the top, passengers are awarded with a spectacular view of the iconic Matterhorn mountain.
DAY 9 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN ZURICH
Bid farewell to the mountains as you take the train to Zurich airport for a flight home.

Board the gleaming carriages of the British Pullman train at London Victoria station. Your steward will show you to your cabin, surrounded by stunning décor and memories of journeys gone by. Sit back and enjoy brunch with a cocktail as you travel, crossing the channel to Calais before boarding the blue and gold carriages of the Continental Wagons-Lits. After relaxing in your private cabin, visit the famous bar car for an Agatha Christie Bellini before moving to one of the magnificent restaurant cars, for a delicious fourcourse dinner. Retire to your compartment for the night, which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom by your steward. Awake to the magnificent scenery of the Swiss Alps as a delicious continental breakfast is served in your compartment. Relax as the scenery rolls by or take a trip to the bar car for a coffee. At lunchtime, enjoy a leisurely three course meal served in another of the beautiful restaurant cars as the train travels through the Italian Dolomites. Later, your steward will bring a sumptuous afternoon tea. Prepare to disembark in the early evening as the train crosses the Venetian Lagoon and arrives at Santa Lucia station, where a shared taxi transfer service will take you to your hotel. DAY 3 - VENICE
After breakfast enjoy a short walking tour with a local guide for some stories of the city’s labyrinthine streets and campos, then enjoy a gondola ride down the Grand Canal. DAY 4 - VENICE TO ROME
After breakfast, sit back and relax on your scenic journey to Rome. Pass quaint Italian villages and rolling fields before arriving at Rome Termini. On arrival in Rome, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Marvel at the impressive Roman Forum and take in the pleasant views from the top of Palatine Hill.
