DAY 1 - THE INDIAN PACIFIC Depart Sydney in the afternoon and settle into the comfort of your Gold Class Cabin. Enjoy some great views of the Blue Mountains as the sun comes down, then perhaps enjoy meeting your fellow travellers over a glass of wine in the bar car, and at dinner.
DAY 2 - THE INDIAN PACIFIC/ADELAIDE In the morning enjoy a tour of Broken Hill, an old frontier mining town which has established itself as an artistic hub. After lunch back onboard the train you will arrive in Adelaide and make your way to your hotel for a 3-night stay.
DAY 3 - ADELAIDE Enjoy a great morning city tour today, then relax and explore Adelaide at your leisure. Give us a call if you might rather enjoy a day trip to the beautiful Kangaroo Island perhaps.
DAY 4 - BAROSSA VALLEY Enjoy a real treat today with an all-day tour to the world-renowned Barossa wine region.

SYDNEY Spend 1 night onboard the Indian Pacific between Sydney and Adelaide
Travel through some stunning scenery and some beautiful vineyards, stopping in the award winning Pinarie for a tasting and morning tea. Following some free time in Tanunda a gourmet lunch is served on the famous Lambert Estate, then there is even time for a visit to the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company for a further wine (and chocolate!) tasting before returning to Adelaide.
DAY 5 - THE GHAN
Alice Springs where you bid farewell to the train and head to your hotel for a 1-night stay.
DAY 7 - ULURU Depart Alice Springs aboard a luxury coach and enjoy the view as you drive through the red centre en-route to Ayers Rock Resort. In the afternoon visit the Cultural Centre to learn the importance of the area then travel around the base with commentary about the numerous sacred sites and features to be found at Uluru. Take a walk to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole then watch the breath-taking change in colour of Uluru at sunset whilst enjoying a glass of sparkling wine. Following sunset settle in for an exclusive BBQ dinner with Uluru as your stunning backdrop or speak to any of our knowledgeable Travel Consultants if you might prefer a romantic meal for two under the stars.
DAY 8 - ULURU/KATA TJUTA AND RETURN TO ALICE SPRINGS.
Make your way out to Adelaide Parkland Terminal this morning, where you will board the great red carriages of The Ghan train heading north. After settling into your cabin why not head to the Outback Explorer Lounge car for a drink with your fellow passengers. Enjoy the view as you tuck into a fine dinner.
It is an early as you watch the sun rise over the magnificent rock, then head over to the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta and stretch your legs with a guided walk into the pretty Walpa Gorge. Spend some free time exploring the gorge and the otherworldly rock formations, then in the afternoon enjoy the scenery and passing wildlife on your return to Alice Springs for the night.
DAY 6 - THE GHAN/ALICE SPRINGS

Make an early start today as the train stops at the tiny town of Marla some 1000km north of Adelaide, and her you can enjoy breakfast around a campfire watching the sun rise. Once back on board relax at leisure before lunch and arrival into
