DAY 1 - ROME

Welcome to Rome! Following your flight, you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel to check-in for a 2-night stay. That evening head out to get your bearings. DAY 2 - ROME

Enjoy a leisurely morning today, perhaps with a stroll up the Spanish Steps then around the beautiful Borghese Gardens. In the afternoon join a very small group and skip the line into the unmistakable Colosseum and tread in the footsteps of Gladiators, then learn all there is to know about the fantastic Roman Forum - the centre of the Roman Empire! DAY 3 - FLORENCE

Following breakfast make your way to the station for your highspeed train to Florence. Florence is surprisingly compact and a stroll along the banks of the Arno to the gorgeous Ponte Vecchio is a lovely way to work up an appetite for dinner. DAY 4 - FLORENCE

A full day of sightseeing lies ahead today with a small group morning tour led by a local is a brilliant way to learn the vast history of this ancient city. You will visit the Accademia Gallery to see first had Michelangelo’s David, then on to visit Florence’s beautiful Cathedral. In the afternoon make your way to the Uffizi gallery for a 90min tour. Speak to any of our Travel Consultants if you might prefer a private tour perhaps. DAY 5 - FLORENCE AND THE VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then some more sightseeing before being making your way to the station for a departure to remember! Once onboard and settled into your cabin you will be shown the way one of the opulent restaurant cars for a spectacular 4-course dinner, then perhaps a night cap in the bar before bed.

DAY 6 - THE VENICE SIMPLON ORIENTEXPRESS TO PARIS

The train pulls into Paris in late morning, and here you bid farewell to your cabin and are driven to your hotel for a 2-night stay. Once refreshed head out to enjoy the city and make use of your great sightseeing pass. An evening cruise along the river is a lovely way to spend your first night in the city of light! DAY 7 - PARIS

A great day of sightseeing lies ahead today with a plethora of famous museums and sights to visit and see. Make use of the travel card included to cross the city by metro or take the scenic route via a Hop-on Hop-off tour and enjoy the stories behind the famous streets and boulevards of Paris.

DAY 8 - END OF TOUR

Following breakfast and if time allows enjoy some last-minute sightseeing and souvenir shopping before making your to Gare du Nord for your journey back to the UK.
