DAY 1 - PARIS

On arrival into Paris, head to your hotel for a two-night stay. Spend the remainder of the day sightseeing with a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower perhaps, or visit the Louvre museum to marvel at some of the finest art in the world. DAY 2 - PARIS

Today enjoy a two-hour intimate tour around the scenic Montmartre district visiting 5-6 local eateries, getting an insight about French sweets, pastries, and Paris culture. DAY 3 - DIJON

Take the quick TGV train to Dijon and check in for a two-night stay. In the afternoon head to the huge Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy to marvel at the remarkable tombs and other well-preserved historical wonders. Pass by Dijon’s stunning cathedral and give the stone owl a rub for good luck as the locals do, drop by the local market to see some of the local truffles foraged from the nearby woods, or pop into any of the historic mustard shops where it’s served from a tap. DAY 4 - BEAUNE DAY TRIP

Jump onto any of the very regular trains to Beaune and within 30mins you’ll arrive into this remarkable, historic walled town. Beaune is the centre of the Burgundy winemaking region, and the best place to sample of buy a bottle or two. Be sure to pay a visit to the Hospices de Beaune, whose 15th century tiled roof is more than impressive. DAY 5 - DIJON TO LYON

After breakfast and any last souvenir shopping, take the two-hour train ride south to Lyon in the Rhone valley, and on arrival head to your hotel for a three-night stay. DAY 6 - LYON

Today enjoy a very small group Secret Food Tour around the Vieux Lyon and Bellecour districts where you will have the opportunity to taste authentic and traditional dishes, while drinking lovely local wines

DAY 7 - LYON

Lyon is full of fascinating historical and architectural landmarks. Continue to make use of your City Pass today with a visit to the fascinating musee des Confluences or the fine arts museum, then hop onboard for a scenic cruise tour along the Rhone. Head over to the Roman Amphitheatre before tucking into some serious Coq au vin or any other of the many rustic delicacies which have given Lyon the reputation as the capital of gastronomy in France. DAY 8 - LYON TO BORDEAUX

Travel from Lyon to Bordeaux via a change of trains in Toulouse today, and make your way to your hotel for a three-night stay. DAY 9 - BORDEAUX

At your leisure head to the impressive Cité du Vin complex today to discover everything you didn’t know and thought you knew about the world of wine.

DAY 10 - BORDEAUX

Enjoy a relaxing day in Bordeaux today, exploring its beautiful streets filled with 18th and 19th century mansions. Its 11th century Cathedral is well worth a visit, whilst the spectacular Place de la Bourse is makes for a fantastic photo opportunity DAY 11 - END OF TOUR
