DAY 1 - DELHI

Arrive at Delhi International Airport and your representative will meet you in the arrival area. Depart for your hotel in a private transfer where you will check in for your stay. India’s capital and a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds - the ancient with the modern

DAY 2 - DELHI

After breakfast, proceed for the full day city tour of Old & New Delhi including a visit to the 17th century Jama Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride through the narrow, winding lanes of colourful and bustling Chandni Chowk. Also stop in front of the Mughal Empire’s most opulent fort, the Red Fort for a photo stop. In the afternoon you proceed to New Delhi where you will be taken for the Drive past of The Presidential Palace, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys. Also visit the 16th century Humayun’s tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Later, proceed for a city tour including visits to Prince of Wales Museum and Mani Bhawan (Gandhi’s Bombay home) DAY 3 - JOIN MAHARAJAS EXPRESS - DELHI TO AGRA

Today after breakfast, your representative will meet you in the lobby area of the hotel. They will be assisting you and will transfer you to Safdarjung railway station where you will Board, The Maharajas’ Express - Treasures of India. Enjoy brunch on board as you arrive into Agra. As you reach the ‘City of Mughal Splendour’, visit the world famous Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), this incomparable marvel is constructed entirely out of white marble and is an architectural masterpiece with beautiful inlay work and marble screens.

DAY 4 - MAHARAJAS EXPRESS AGRA TO RANTHAMBORE

Early this morning, disembark to visit the exquisite Agra Fort. Later, enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board as you travel to your next destination Ranthambore. Lunch shall be served onboard. Arrive into Ranthambore and proceed for an exciting game drive in the Ranthambore National Park. Originally the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Ranthambore was declared a National Park in 1973. The Park is famous for its open sightings of tigers, sambar, chital, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal and leopard. DAY 5 - MAHARAJAS EXPRESS - JAIPUR

Following disembarkation and a grand traditional welcome, begin your exciting tour of the pink city with a visit to The Amber Fort. The Amber Fort, set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. That evening proceed for an exclusive dinner at the Rambagh Palace Hotel, residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur from 1925 to 1957. DAY 6 - DELHI

This is where your journey on the Maharajas Express ends. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before arriving into to Delhi, where you will be transferred to you hotel for your final nights stay. Spend the rest of the day and evening at your leisure.

DAY 7 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN DELHI

Today after breakfast your tour concludes, you will be assisted & transferred in a private car to Delhi International airport for your flight home.
