What we do:
• Provide legal representation and research knowledge to assist with native title claims.
• Support the negotiation of Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs) and native title agreements. • Provide support to Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs) and
Aboriginal corporations. • Provide cultural heritage services. • Support community, economic and environmental projects.
YMAC is required, under the CATSI Act, to report annually to the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC). This includes a general report, financial report and Director’s report (with each submitted to ORIC by 31 December). YMAC accepts the invitation contained in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and will continue to walk together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a movement of the Australian people for a better future.
