TEEN/ADULT SWIM FIT A Masters Swimming style physical conditioning program for those who are training for an event or just to swim for fitness. For serious swimmers, tri-athletes, or anyone who is looking for a coached workout, this is for you! This program will cover; stroke development, and swimming conditioning workouts lead by an instructor with competitive swimming background and experience. Please note, the participant shall be comfortable swimming at least two lengths of the pool without stopping, this is a program structured for intermediate to advanced swimmers. TEE BALL This program is geared towards children ages 3-5 and will teach them the basic fundamentals of the game: hitting, catching and overall good sportsmanship. All children will receive a t-shirt and hat to play and the season will end with a pizza party and trophy celebration! STRONG GIRLS Ages 8-12 (Bremen Street) GIRLS GET STRONG - A fitness class designed just for youth girls that covers how to lift weights with new workouts each week. This class will help build confidence, teamwork skills and leadership skills in a fun all-inclusive environment. Mon 4:00-4:45pm

JUNIOR CELTICS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT BASKETBALL LEAGUE Jr. Celtics: The YMCA of Greater Boston has partnered with the Boston Celtics and their Jr. Celtics Youth Development Leagues! This season teaches participants on instructional and recreational teams will experience an exclusive basketball program teaching the values of Celtics basketball and focusing on healthy player and coach development. This program is for children in grades K to 6th, and each participant will receive 1 reversible branded Celtic and Y jersey. » YMCA SPECIALTY FITNESS » LARGE GROUP RUN TO 10K

Are you a runner looking to go an extra step or run with a group each week? Together we’ll set a goal of being able to run a 10k by the end of our sessions. Each Tuesday, we’ll meet in the lobby, stretch, run, do a quick ab session and then cool down. This class is best for anyone who currently runs, even if it’s just a little. Born in the Navy SEALs, TRX is a bodyweight exercise that develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. » HEALTHY LIVING LIVESTRONG LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a national, free 12-week group exercise program that helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis. With LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Ys are helping cancer survivors in their communities get the physical activity, supportive relationships, and stress reduction they need to improve their quality of life. Medical studies show that moderate levels of exercise can help cancer survivors physically and mentally, and can also reduce the severity of therapy and treatment side effects, helping to prevent unwanted weight changes, improve energy levels and self-esteem. March 2020 YMCA DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM - March 2020 Times to be announced. YDPP is a one-year program (25 sessions in total). This program helps adults at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes reduce their risk for developing the disease by taking steps that will improve their overall health and well-being. This will be a small, supportive group in a classroom based setting.
