St rengt h/Cardio Combo

Boot camp

You?ll challenge both your cardiovascular system and your muscles in our boot camp class. With the use of kettleballs, slam balls, ropes and more in this fun, intense workout!

Fuse

Cardio Fuse is a fun combination of cardio and resistance training Fuse blends kickboxing, aerobics, dance and plyometrics for an intense cardio workout, and utilizes versa loops for resistance training.

Great Music + HIIT Cardio + Weight Training -

Result This is a great combination of popular exercise techniques, scientific research, great music and fun SURGEclasses utilize minimum equipment, just a set of dumbbells, a mat, and some space to move

Cycle

Cycle

This class uses the stationary bike for a cardiovascular workout that is led by an instructor who will take you on a different ride each time you come to class Group cycle classes can be very intense, but beginners can cycle as well Remember to let your instructor know you are new and they will guide your through the class

Rip & Ride

In this class instructors will combine the intense cardio of a cycle class with the strengthening benefits of resistance training exercise. This is a great class for participants of all fitness levels as intensity can be increased or decreased depending on the student

Mind/Body Classes

YOGA

Strengthen and open tight areas of the body like the shoulders and muscles of the upper body. This can help you keep good posture. Develop body awareness Yoga requires you to contract or relax specific muscles as you stretch into each pose

Pilat es

This is a great workout that targets the front and back of the torso, inner and outer thighs and glutes.

Barre

Barre helps develop muscular endurance through a combination of movements derived fromyoga, Pilates and dance. Often participants use either body weight or very light weights to performsmall isolating movements Modifications and progressions make this a workout for most fitness levels

Body Shaping

Use a variety of equipment frombands, balls, hand weights, and more to increase muscular strength and endurance. Participants at all fitness levels are welcome as weight, intensity and repetitions can be modified for individuals

BodyCombat is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact Punch and kick your way to fitness No experience needed Learn moves fromKarate, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

SH'BAM

Sh'Bamis a fun-loving, insanely addictive dance workout In an ego-free zone, with no dance experience required. All you need is a playful attitude and a cheeky smile, so forget being a wallflower. If you walk in thinking you can't, you will walk out knowing you can!

Blood Pressure Self- Monit oring Program

This 4-month programhelps those suffering with high blood pressure to learn to properly take blood pressure and to develop the habit of consistently monitoring their blood pressure During the program, participants will meet with specially trained YMCA staff regularly, attend nutrition seminars and will receive their own blood pressure monitor to have at home

The YMCA's Diabet es Prevent ion Program

This year-long programhelps those that have been diagnosed with prediabetes or those that are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes learn to make lifestyle changes that will reduce their risk of developing the disease
