FUN AWAITS YOUR CHILD AT CAMP!

Camp Piomingo is a safe and friendly environment where kids learn to be themselves. At Kentuckiana’s premier overnight camp since 1938, our coed programs for children 6 – 16 help kids develop the skills and relationships they need to be healthy, confident and connected to others. As a camper, your child will bunk in a cabin with other kids their age, engage in a wide range of fun activities and create lifelong memories and friendships.

STAFF AND SAFETY

Safety is our number one priority. Your child will be supervised 24 hours a day by our devoted staff and will have access to our health center and on-site registered nurses. At Camp Piomingo, we select only the most qualified staff from the US and abroad through an extensive interview process and background check to ensure your child’s safety and personal growth.

Equestrian Programs

Our one week Equestrian program is for new or beginner riders. In daily lessons, your child will learn basic horse care, riding skills and stable management.

“ Piomingo is a place where you can make friends and be yourself.” – Camper

In our two week program, your camper will have more time to develop their skills and will even help plan and ride on an overnight trail experience, and be able to sleep under the stars with their horse. Your camper can even bring their horse to camp to let it enjoy the fun with them! Our equestrian staff are certified riding instructors by the Horsemanship Safety Association.

STAYOVER

The Stayover Program allows campers age 7 – 16 to extend their stay for multiple sessions.
