POOL RULES: • All swimmers 17 & under must pass a swim test before they may swim in the deep-end. Please see “Test, Mark, Protect.” • Children under the age of 7 must be within arm’s reach of an adult physically in the pool, regardless of ability, at all times. Please see “Test, Mark, Protect.” • Please shower before entering the pool. This is a state law. • Please walk while on the deck. • Glass of any kind is NOT allowed on the pool deck. • Please refrain from breath holding games. • Swimmers with hair shoulder length or longer are asked to tie their hair up or wear a swim cap. • Flotation devices will be limited to life jackets and puddle jumpers. • Designated jumping area in the shallow and deep end will be marked off by cones. • Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.

ADULT SWIM AND SWIM TESTING: • The Pool will be closed for Adult Swim during the last 15 minutes of each hour. • Adults ages 18+ may continue to swim during this time. • During Adult Swim, lifeguards will administer swim tests for swimmers who have not passed previously. • Children are encouraged to take breaks, use the bathroom, and have a snack while resting during Adult Swim.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: • The outdoor pool is available for use by YMCA of Metro North members only. For non-member guests, please see below: o Any non-member guest must be accompanied by a YMCA of Metro North member and purchase a day guest pass to use the outdoor pool. Guest Pass fees are:  Adult (18-64): ..................................................... $15  Senior (65+) and Teen (14 -17): .................... $8  Youth (13 and under): ....................................... $5 • All members, including children, must have a key tag to scan into the Torigian Family YMCA before proceeding to the Outdoor Pool. Members/Guests must wear a blue wrist band.

FAMILY FUN FRIDAYS!

Every Friday during the summer from 4:00pm - 7:00pm we'll be hosting a different family friendly theme party! Our first party is June 21, Luau Night! *excludes Friday June 28.

OUTDOOR POOL PARTIES

Saturday & Sundays: 10:00am -12:00pm or 4:00pm - 6:00pm Members Only: Cost $350 (up to 25 swimmers) • Each option for time gives your party an hour of private swim time at the outdoor pool. • Inclement weather - Gym & Bounce Party Option

AQUATICS SAFETY

TEST Everyone ages 17 and younger must take a swim test to determine swimming ability. Swim test includes: • Swimming 25 yards without touching the wall or floor • Jumping into the deep end, fully submerge and recover • Tread water for 30 seconds

MARK

Upon successfully completing the swim test, you will receive a green wristband which allows: • Ages 7-17 may swim the entire pool • Anyone under the age of 7, regardless of ability, must be within arm’s reach of an adult at all times

PROTECT

If a swim test was declined or not successful, you will receive a red wristband: • Ages 17 and younger must remain in the shallow water • Swimmers under the age of 10 or shorter than 50” must wear a personal flotation device (PFD) • Swimmers who are in the pool with a parent at arm’s length, learning to swim, may be excused of PFD • Anyone under the age of 7, regardless of ability, must be within arm’s reach of an adult at all times *Please check in at the lifeguard station at the indoor pool for all swim bands.
