Fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: 60 minutes F: $60 M: $90 N: $120

This ground-based martial arts class emphasizes self-defense techniques such as holds and locks to control and subdue an opponent. The principles of Jiu-Jitsu allow a person to use simple body mechanics, leverage, and momentum to control an opponent with efficiency and minimal effort. Jiu-Jitsu is great for anyone seeking improved fitness goals, selfdefense, competition, or just a way to stay active and healthy! *Located in gymnasium. Wed:

45 minutes Each week’s clinic will include a group warm-up followed by skillbuilding scrimmages while learning the fundamentals of the game! Depending on the age level, we will cover ball handling, passing, scoring, defense, team work and much more. We will play at our outdoor playfield and move indoors if inclement weather occurs. Sat:

Hip Hop: 45 minutes

If your little one just loves to move, this class is for them! Age appropriate music and fun, athletic dance steps will be taught during this class. Isolations, popping and free-style movement will all be a focus of this athletic and energetic dance style. Tue:

This class will demonstrate the necessary skills needed to play football. Participants will engage in fun and exciting drills and games that will foster a love for football!

Children will learn the basics of archery including how to play properly and safely use a bow and arrow at our archery range! Thu:

These introductory lessons teach children the parts of the guitar, how to tune a guitar, and practice string exercises. Later lessons include chord progressions, and students will work towards learning a song! Tue:

Each clinic will include a group warm-up followed by skill-building scrimmages. Tue:

Skippers: ages 2.9-4 30 mins

This class will help transition students to being in a full Pike class. Parents are not required to be in the pool, though may join in to help with transition on instructors recommendations. Sat: 11:30am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes) Sun: 11:30am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes)

Parents learn water safety, holds and towing techniques that encourage basic kicking/pulling and water independence for children. Swim diaper must be worn. Flotation based introduction to the major 4 swimming strokes. Class includes diving skills and opportunities to practice swimming without flotation. Prerequisite: Able to paddle independently, float on their back with a flotation device and put face under the water. Children will have a level 3 bubble. Ray: ages 3-6 40 mins Learn rotary breathing and improve stamina for swimming strokes. Class goal is to eliminate flotation completely and swim independently. Swimmers bubbles should be no more than a level 2 bubble. Prerequisite: Able to swim 10 feet or more without flotation and fully submerge their head. Mon/Thu: 1:00pm (2x/week, for 5 weeks, 10 classes) Mon/Wed: 4:15pm (2x/week, for 5 weeks, 10 classes) Tue/Thu: 12:15pm (2x/week, for 5 weeks, 10 classes) Tue/Thu: 4:15pm (2x/week, for 5 weeks, 10 classes) Sat: 10:00am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes) Sun: 10:00am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes)

Star Fish: ages 3-6 40 mins Introduction to front crawl with alternating arm recovery, rhythmic breathing and combined stroke on back will be taught. Children can swim a length of the pool on their front and back at the end of this level. Prerequisite: Swimmer must be able to swim the width of 3 lanes without flotation. Prerequisite: Swimmer must be able to swim the width of 3 lanes without flotation. Polliwog: ages 6+ 40 mins This class is for the child who has little or no experience. Jumping, bobbing, floating, kicking and gliding will be introduced, along with reaching, pulling and breathing control as the child becomes independent of the flotation devices. A bubble or noodle may be used for flotation. Mon/Thu: 1:00pm (2x/week, for 5 weeks, 10 classes) Mon-Thu: 5:00pm (4x/week, for 2 weeks, 8 classes) Sun: 10:45am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes)

Guppy: ages 6+ 40 mins

Swimmers must swim half the length of the pool without assistance and submerge their face in the water to enter this class. They are introduced to the basics of the major four swim strokes in addition to rotary breathing. Mon/Wed: 12:15pm (2x/week, for 5 weeks, 10 classes) Mon-Thu: 5:00pm (4x/week, for 2 weeks, 8 classes) Sat: 10:45am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes)

Minnow: ages 6+ 40 mins Swimmers must swim 1 length of front crawl with rhythmic breathing and 1 length of backstroke to enter this class. The children refine the lead up strokes they have learned as their strokes become more developed. Sat: 10:45am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes) Sun: 10:45am (1 day/week, for 5 weeks, 5 classes)
