Barry Town on the Oval Who Would of Thought?
Today's visitors are no strangers to success as was their dominance in the 1990s and early 2000s of the Welsh domestic game, Barry racked up the air miles with European adventures both in the Uefa and European Cup.
Back in 1996 a 3-3 draw with former cup winners Aberdeen before going out on aggregate over two legs was just one of many a night for the Jenner park history books.

It was the 01/02 season that saw their greatest European moment beating Azerbaijani side Shamkir FC 3-0 on aggregate in the first qualifying round of the Champions which set up a glamor tie with the 1987 & 2004 European cup winners FC Porto.

The first leg at Porto's historic and now demolished Estadio Das Antas saw an emphatic 8-0 victory for the Portuguese host including a hattrick from future Ballon D’Or winner Deco in front of 55,000.
The return leg saw a much changed Porto side travel to South Wales still with future European championship & Premier League winner Richardo Carvalho in the heart of defence.
