This promising bunch of future citizens is sure to make a difference to the world.
It was an exciting fortnight from May 13 to 24 for the handful of enthusiastic kids from the neighbourhood schools, Padma Seshadri, La Chateline and Chennai Public School who attended the choral music workshop conducted by the Madras Youth Choir at

The book begins with Argo-ll getting ready to land at camp Jupiter with four of the seven demigods of the prophecy –Annabeth Chase, Leo Valdez, Piper Mclean and Jason Grace already on board. As usual trouble seeks them and Percy Jackson , Hazel Leverque and Frank Zhang join the crew and set sails to ancient lands. With Gaea announcing a bounty on them, their encounter their share of monsters along with various others pursuing them.
quest follows frank Zhang’s earlier advice to Annabeth-keep things simple. nevertheless, the book doesn’t let us keep it down until we finish the last page. The story is told from third person view alternating between Annabeth, Leo, Piper and Percy. Rick Riordan weaves the tale such that it isn’t tiresome reading between the alternating point of views. There are typical Riordan laugh-outloud moments . Additionally a glossary is supplied at the end with brief history of the mythological characters appearing in the book.
There is a great build up of expectations around Annabeth’s solo Overall, The Mark Of Athena is a delightful book for both Greek geeks quest-to follow the mark of Athena and settle a old score. In the end the and non-Greek geeks alike.

Shivani C Student Reporter The road in Ayanambakam, Manthope Saalai located near Mogappair which needs extensive renovation is now causing threats to the passers-by. The area is rapidly taking its form into an industrial hub. The condition of the roads is causing inconvenience to the people during the nightfall. The lane consists of street lamps but there is little lighting. The drivers express that the road condition is also a factor contributing to the major threats in addition to the poor lighting. Many passers-by who have been using the lane past three years, say that there was only a mud road which connected two major neighbourhoods and also it was lonesome.
Even though a mud road doesn’t exist now, there had been no transformation in the recent years.

A person could also have a view of plastic bags heaped in the corner. The worst affected group of people is the labourers from the neighbouring states who make frequent visits to the place. Since the lighting is poor, drivers use their headlights in high beam which is also dangerous for the walkers.
