Clarity Amplified Corded Phone Numbers Survey We ordered this phone for an elderly parent. It seems to be working well. No lighted dial and as far as we can tell - no hands free use. We are satisfied - the unit seems substantial enough. We were just looking for a basic phone that amplified well and this seems to do that adequately. Our parent isn't able to handle a lot of bells and whistles - so, this works fine for her. Programming in a few phone numbers for her has been helpful - she now just pushes one number to dial her favorite phone numbers. Phone is great for mother who can not see to dial a phone. The large numbers are great & tell her what number she is calling. Memory will talk & dial. Your price was the BEST AROUND< THANKS We got this phone for my Mother In Law who is 95, has trouble hearing and seeing, it works great for her, she can use the phone without much trouble, loves the large buttons and the fact that they are dark buttons with white lettering ( she has low vision ), plus she can alter the incoming, outgoing volumes, etc. . You may need to set the phone up for some one whose faculties are not what they used to be, but it is a good phone that performs as advertised. Purchased this brand new phone and it is made like a piece of junk. No dial tone when you pick up the receiver. Need to hit the cradle to get the dial tone to connect. (Yes I did confirm the wire was working with another unit. ) Unable to use the other features since the phone does not even function like a normal phone. Poor cheap construction. Certainly not reliable telephone for a person with a handicap. Would never recommend this unit. Happy to return it.
