Sony Sgpds1 Tablet Cradle Included Survey This cradle is well made and very sturdy. Works great while watching a video before bed by sitting it on the night stand, or when using your tablet as an alarm clock. My only gripe is, I wish Sony would have enclosed the sides of the cradle, so placing the tablet in the dock would allow it to always be lined up. With the dock the way it is, it is very easy to place the tablet slightly to the left or right and not be lined up with the charging prongs. Other than that it is a great product and I highly recommend it. NOTE: If you are using the A/C adapter with this doc, a message will pop-up asking what you would like to do, such as photo gallery, lock screen etc. If you do not want to do any of those things, but would rather say watch a video, just touch out side of the notification window and it will return to your home screen. This is a great dock, super easy to put the tablet in it and also remove it with no force required at all. The dock is very sturdy, have not noticed any wobble or anything yet. One of the biggest reasons i like this dock is because of no longer needing to plug in the proprietary changing cable which i have heard of a few people breaking the pins that hold it in, so i don't have to worry about breaking the cable. The only very minor issues i have with it are, like another reviewer mentioned, how the sides are not enclosed so it doesn't always line up right but a slight push on the side and it falls into place. As well as the notification window that pops up when you dock it, i wish there was a way to disable this. The changing cable is also kind of hard to plug into the dock if you don't have tiny hands, but once you get it in you don't have to worry about it again so it is not that big of an issue. I got this dock along with the official usb adapter to play games with a controller specially once the Playstation suite launches, as well as an easier way to transfer files to and from my pc. I am very glad i got this dock, i highly recommend it to everyone who has the Sony Tablet S. Well worth the price, specially when it is on sale. It holds your tablet as it charges it and allows you to set it as a picture frame, clock, or other screen saver. It's perfect to set up if you keep your tablet charging at home in your living room or bedroom or whatever. Quality is great and design is flawless; it's a must have for any tablet s owner! I purchased the Sony SGPT112US/S Wi-Fi Tablet and received the Sony SGPDS1 Tablet S Cradle (A/C not included), as part of a promotion deal. The cradle is a must have. The Sony S Tablet itself is difficult to charge, but with the cradle it is as simple as sliding the tablet into the cradle onto the charging prongs. The tablet docks with ease. *Purchasing the A/C is not necessary; the Sony S tablet comes with a A/C Adaptor which works with the cradle. Wow! This turns my S into an awesome picture frame, or classy looking digital clock when not in use! I thought I'd be putting the dock on a bookshelf or on a desk, but no, I had to find somewhere attractive to place it (it's on top the piano). Great design and no fiddling with plugs. . . it slips in and out of the cradle easily. Actually it just rests on the cradle. Great, great accessory!
