Zagg Invisibleshield Samsung Fascinate Galaxy Survey Applied to the device per instructions. It ruined the quality of my AMOLED screen. It was like looking through an orange peel. Rough texture on the screen ruined the picture quality. The shield also had a rainbow effect that didnt go away even after 5 days. I've used Zagg products in the past with good success. This one was impossible to apply correctly; it is very thin and slightly too big so the edges and corners just do not stay down. I am not impressed; no matter how good the protection is, without being able to install it it is useless. ZAGG overly advertises the material to be "virtually indestructible". You could look up several Youtube videos where someone would drop a bowling ball from 30 feet onto a sheet of Invisible Shield, and the Invisible Shield will mold back into its initial shape. Upon seeing mountains of positive reviews, I expected it to be durable in the face of all the wear and tear I put my phone through. IS gets scratches very easily if you put keys and your phone in the same pockets. I had mine for months and it has uncountable amounts. During a fishing trip, my knife nicked against my phone and left a 1-inch scratch. Later, when I pulled the IS off my Fascinate to make sure the screen wasn't actually damaged, the scratch stretched apart and left a gaping rip. The IS isn't durable and indestructible as it is advertised to be, but it certainly is invisible enough. When my screen is off, there is that sticky orange peel texture. But when the screen is on, the IS is completely clear and invisible, which I like. Also, although the Invisible Shield ripped apart on me, the actual phone screen has not been damaged at all. ZAGG's story about how this was initially meant for helicopter blades is a suspicious one, and it might have been fabricated just so ZAGG would have an excuse to overcharge a product that's really not worth it. Helicopter blades will have to deal with more than just a small cut from a fishing knife. ZAGG Invisible Shield for the Samsung Galaxy is the biggest POS I've ever bought -bottle of mystery fluid was broken and I've gone through a month of BS trying to get a replacement: Here i an example - the ywill send me a new one but want a credit card to charge if I don't send the junk I origionally bought back! The fluid from the bottle ruined it and after dealing with them the first week I tossed it so I'm screwed. Fortunately the $6. 00 one I got locslly works great. . . . M It was easy to apply and looked okay, but after just a few months the dents in the shield drove me nuts enough to remove it from my phone. My 5 year old daughter likes to play angry birds and I suspect her eager little fingers somehow scratched the surface. Every time I use the phone these nicks are felt way to clearly. It's extremely annoying. Also, this screen is a lot less smooth than the phone itself, which took some getting used to, it added some "drag" to it.
