stopped state. Start it now.
The same process can be done through
commands. Open command prompt with administrator privileges (Run as Administrator).
Use command “Net start spooler” for initiating
spooler services.
To stop printer spooler services, use command “Net stop spooler”. If print spooler keeps on stopping again, even after restarting it, use
the following steps. This method is useful when print spooler is malfunctioning due to random reasons, even though Printer is fine physically and no paper is jammed in it.
You need to clear the print spooler files which are temporarily stored
in printing jobs. Print spooler will restart and will probably run smoothly next time. The files are stored in Spool->Printers directory that lies in the Windows->System 32 folder of your root directory. The queue will be disabled when you clear these files.
