Reflection Task Lamp 2011 Task Lamp LED Research LED is the future of lighting industry, It's small, energy efficient and its light emitting quality can be regarded as a point light source. It is a new technology that needs a new form, yet most of the LED task lamp designs are still follows the form of traditional task lamp. As we can precisely control the LED light pass via lens and reflector, the light source no longer need to be placed on "top" of the lamp. Reflection is a new form of task lamp which utilises the full potential of LED.

Look Back 2005 3G phone which specialized for PHOTOING Without Complexity The main focus of this project is the physical interface of an electronic product. By turning Key Pad of the front side and Camera of the back side, the function of the cell phone can be changed immediately. This is a project I proposed to LG electronics where I studied new form factors for 3G camera phones. I observed people using phone, and tried to come up with new form in order to make them both more physically and emotion- ally comfortable while using phones.

A cup of Light 2007 A new experience about light This product is about interaction between light and the physcial experience of controlling light. Tap is used as a key to controls the strength of light as it is something very intuitive that every- one knows how to use immediately without instruction. The Light Cup and The Tap interacts each other, the light tap allows you containing the light into a cup, manipulating the amount of light within the cup and taking it away. When you want to turn the light o, just act like pour- ing it out upsidedown. Dimensions W260 x H100 x D80 (mm) Materials ABS, Acrylic tube

Take it away to have your own light.

When you want to turn the light o, pour it out just like spilling water.

Turn the tap to get some light. You can control the amount of light in the cup through the tap. When you get as much light in the cup as you want, just take it away.

Drawer Unit Shelves 2011 Storage system The drawer unit can be easily sorted with the wall rack; when in need the drawer can be brought to the working desk as a temporary station for material in and out. The colour combination of drawers creates a dynamic landscape within the oďŹƒce. Dimensions W480 x H150x D400 (mm) Materials Aluminum sheets

Tofu light 2011 Acrylic sheets This light plays the visual illusion by using layers of tranparent material with printed patterns. While the patterns are overlapped, 2 dimen- sional images can create 3 dimensional shape with the depth of each layer. The images are printed onto clear acrylic sheets through silk-screen printing process, hence make the production cost relatively low and keeps the potential of expanding the collection very easily.

Grown Drawings Lamp 2012 Lamps grown from two-dimensional drawings. Grown Drawing is a special experimental pro- cess I developed to transform 2D drawings into 3D volume. With this process it is possible to manipulate surfaces to form substantial 3D volumes without the need for a mould, while retaining the delicate simplicity of a 2D illustra- tion. Metallic ink is printed onto a sheet to act as a key, the sheet is then folded into it's ďŹ nal 3D form. Metal is then 'grown' on the objects sur- face creating a ridged structure throughout the process of 'electroforming'. The sheet material can then be removed leaving the ďŹ nished self- supporting form. Dimensions W200 x H200 x D400 (mm) Materials Silver ink, Electroformed Copper

By making small holes onto pp sheet, metal balls grown on inner surface. So the body of shade can be stucked by frame for light.

Air Tattoo Collection

Produced Client : Logical Art 2012

Air Tattoo is a collection of wearable art. The pieces allow you to wear a delicate drawing as a piece of jewellery. This project is the continuation of my research relating to the transformation of 2- dimensional drawings into 3-dimensional objects. While the at pattern fold and unfold around wearer s body, it creates an eect beyond graphical pattern. Air Tattoo Necklaces are made with a special ecofriendly paper that is both tear and water resistant allowing the pieces to be worn multiple times.

XYZ Lamp 2013 Metal Tubes with Joint This project is about using a customised 3 axis joint to structured industrial metal tubes as a frame. By putting LED light source inside the metal tube, the structure transformed as a lamp that can be used in 3 dierent ways - oor lamp, wall lamp and desklamp. Clothes, scarf or shoes can be hung or placed onto the metal tubes, creating preactical functionality. Dimensions W600x H200 x D200 (mm) Materials Bronze Tubes / Casted Joint

Design wheels Sculptural form

Creating 3D form from 2D sketch Sculptural form I have once interested in Game and Robot design. I have got such a brilliant ability of drawing for any complicated mechanism, form or details, also got a know-how for manipulating my skills to transform 2D sketches to 3D forms appropriate.
