1970s Cynthia A. (Moyer) Dotzel ‘76 (York, PA) was elected the new Board Chair for The York Water Company. She is the first female chair in York Water’s 205-year history. She previously served on the board from 2009 to 2015.
Jennifer L. (Dorsey) Glennon ‘99 (Westminster, MD) is the new Associate Vice President of Administration at McDaniel College.
Alexia M. (Alexander) Cordrey ‘00 (Wilmington, DE) was named Teacher of the Year at Heritage Elementary School in the Red Clay Consolidated School District in Wilmington. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Forest Oak Elementary School and will be competing for district Teacher of the Year.
1980s Linda Amos ‘84 (York, PA) will have her short story, “Just Another Little Black Dress,” published in an upcoming issue of Poetry Protocol. David S. Rayha ‘81 (Willow Street, PA) has been hired as Vice President of Operations for United Methodist Communities in Neptune, NJ. Traci (DeDominicis) Renner ‘87 (St. Charles, MD) was voted Charles County (MD) Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021 by the readers of Southern Maryland News. She is in her 20th year as the librarian at Archbishop Neale School in La Plata, MD.
1990s Jamie L. (Van Natta) Briddell ‘97 (Glen Arm, MD), a Certified Nurse Practitioner, has joined The Center for Endocrinology at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.

Amy D. (Zarger) Kreitz ‘98 (Fairfield, PA) has been named President and CEO of Unified Community Connections, a nonprofit agency supporting individuals with disabilities. She was previously Chief Operating Officer of the agency.
2000s Jennifer L. Berrier ‘02 (Harrisburg, PA) has been named Acting Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry by Gov. Tom Wolf. Most recently, she served as Deputy Secretary for Safety and Labor-Management Relations.

Krista A. (McCullough) Hickman ‘04 (Stewartstown, PA) was named one of the Maryland Daily Record’s Leading Women for 2020. She is a principal at KatzAbosch accounting firm in Timonium, MD.

Jenna L. (Hubler) Koslosky ‘06 (Spring Grove, PA) has joined the York Expo Center as the new Director of Business Development.
Jennifer R. (Miller) O’Neill ‘00 (Glen Mills, PA) was named Teacher of the Year at Heritage Elementary School in the Red Clay Consolidated School District in Wilmington, DE. She is the Librarian at Heritage Elementary School and will be competing for district Teacher of the Year.
Patrick N. Burker ‘16 (Catasauqua, PA), an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst at Bank of New York-Mellon in Pittsburgh, earned his MBA from Saint Francis University, Pittsburgh. He was recently accepted to Georgetown University to pursue a master’s degree in cybersecurity. Brian J. Fischer ‘15 (Toms River, NJ) was hired as a full-time officer with the Pine Beach (NJ) Police Department in February 2021.

Christina M. Lenhoff ‘16 (Bear, DE) and Nicholas J. Brocious ‘16 (Bellmawr, PA) were married on September 18, 2020. They will celebrate their wedding on July 23, 2021, in Lancaster, PA, and reside in West Chester, PA. Sally A. Wenger ‘20 (Bird In Hand, PA) is engaged to Brock Martin of Chambersburg, PA. An August 2021 wedding is planned.

Deceased ALUMNI Phyllis J. (Copenhaver) Comery ‘59 (York, PA), January 14, 2021. She attended York Junior College and went on to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Plant Manager for three major companies in York. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alan, and their two children. Rosemarie E. Hemler ‘50 (York, PA), July 8, 2020. She attended York Junior College and was a teacher in York City schools. Christopher L. Jones ‘83 (Gettysburg, PA), March 31, 2021. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications and also worked for the College as a Title IV investigator. He worked in law enforcement for almost 25 years, including as a D.A.R.E. officer, and is survived by his wife, Michelle. Gwen (Golish) Kochanski ‘84 (Warrington, PA), February 5, 2021. Her career was as a fundraiser and her most recent position was with St. Ephrem’s Elementary School in Bensalem, PA. She is survived by her husband, Rich. Nina G. (Robinson) Henry Kostalas ‘89/’02 (York, PA), January 24, 2020. She earned both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the College, as well as a doctorate of education from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. She was a business education instructor
at the York County School of Technology. She is survived by her five children and three granddaughters. Andrew F. Kowatch ‘74 (Murrysville, PA), April 15, 2021. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended the College on the GI Bill. He also earned a master’s degree from St. Francis of Loretto College and worked for Westinghouse, Teledyne, and the State Department of Corrections at various points in his career. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marian, and their three children. Joseph C. Long Sr. ‘65 (Richboro, PA), October 11, 2020. He earned his associate degree from York Junior College and was married to his wife, Maryellen, for 55 years. Mary E. (Wisotzkey) McClellan ‘41 (Peterborough, NH), February 2, 2021. She was a graduate of the York Collegiate Institute and Middlebury College (Vermont), serving as the correspondent for her Middlebury Class of 1945 and the class secretary for the Class of 1947 of the American Association of Rhodes Scholars. She is survived by her three children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Michelle T. McDevitt ‘00 (Bellmawr, NJ), January 10, 2020. She worked for the Transportation Security Administration and the Child Support Division for the State of New Jersey. She is survived by her parents, sister, and many relatives and friends.
Susan C. (Stabley) Rentzel ‘73 (Wrightsville, PA), December 19, 2020. She earned her associate degree in Business Administration and was also a licensed massage therapist. She is survived by her son, Justin. Ryan R. Rossum ‘11 (York, PA), February 27, 2021. He was a YCCOSP scholar, earning a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. He leaves behind a legacy in the arts, producing two full-length movies, and was awarded a key to the city by former York mayor John Brenner for winning ShowTime at the Apollo with his sisters. He is survived by his parents and many family members and friends. George W. Sechrist ‘72 (Hamilton, MT), April 25, 2021. He earned a bachelor’s degree in History and was a member of the Spartans’ baseball team. He moved to Montana to become a ranger at Yellowstone National Park, serving in the position for over 40 years. Thomas F. Steele ‘11 (Wrightsville, PA), January 8, 2021. He worked in the South Middleton School District as the District Supervisor of Technology and Technology Support. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and their son, Noah. Edwin L.
