In 2002, the CDC forged a strategic alliance with four other community service agencies: Canadian Mental Health Association; Boys & Girls Club of Canada; Women’s Contact Society; and Association for Community Living (now Community Living British Columbia). The Central Interior Community Services Cooperative was incorporated in 2005 and its five member organizations remain committed to working collectively to improve their autonomous organizations while concurrently maintaining a collaborative structure that supports their ongoing work together.
