She is NatĂĄlka.

He is MiloĹĄ.

They decided to get married. How did all this happen,

and what is their story? You can read about it in the winter

fairytale story.

The first meeting

The first kiss

We first met when I attended elementary school and Milošek was an apprentice in our school canteen. He was the most handsome cook I had ever seen, wandering around the kitchen in a fresh clean white polo shirt with the collar up. His only activity of the day started when I entered the canteen. Out of the blue he came to the counter to serve my dish and stood there until I left. He was 17 and me 13, so I was just a little girl for him. Till now he remembers the green sweater I was wearing then.

He kissed me good night in front of the house.

I was 17, practicing as an apprentice in a school canteen, trying to “cook” and Natálka was a 13year old cute girlie in a green sweater.

The first date There wasn’t any official first date. We spent the first evening with a group of our friends and then dating every day.

The one When we are together, we are one body and one soul. It’s really me when I’m with him and I feel like in a fairytale. I know I can always count on him and not to worry. We were predestined to meet 7 years after we have seen each other for the first time. So I believe it will last forever and he’s the one.

The one We are so similar and foolish in the same way. We complement each other and laugh at the same things. I know a can trust her with anything and ask her for help whenever. I know I will never feel the way I feel with her, with anyone else.

The proposal It was like a fairytale. Milošek proposed on a holiday in Greece, in a small beautiful old town. We were standing in the garden upon the sea reflecting the Moon. He looked at me, hold my hand, kneeled and pronounced he would love to spend the rest of his life with me and asked me to marry him. I burst into tears immediately and my answer was clear.

Don’t remind me of that. All I knew was I wanted to propose in Greece, because she loves that country. I spent 2 hours thinking about where to hide the ring so she wouldn’t guess anything. Finally the ring travelled in my sneaker. After landing in Greece I still didn’t have a clue when and where to propose. The other day we went for a dinner to a small town carved in the rock. I knew she would love that place, so I hid the ring in my wallet. I controlled it anxiously the whole evening, trying not to lose it. Then

during the walk in the town, I forgot everything I had planned to tell, so it was spontaneous and perfect.

day or night. I am aware of all his attributes and love them all.

She about him

He about her

He is sociable, foolish and ambitious. Protective, sweet and sensitive. Some day calm, other day restless, once kind, once tiresome. But he is loveable and heavenly handsome every single hour of the

She is unique, completely different than anyone else, doing things in a ponderous way. She is my cutie and I love her so much.

Sweet hearts

For lollipop hearts we will need 10 tablespoons of sugar, 10 tablespoons of water, 4 tablespoons of vinegar and food coloring. In this case we used red. Put all the ingredients into a pot and cook for 10-15 minutes. So that all the water scalds and the mixture is thicker. Before you pour this mixture into the molds, wipe them with oil. It will be later easy to remove them. After pouring mixture into molds, allow sufficient time to cool and to harden.

Chocolate Cake

175 g butter 200 g dark chocolate 300 g plain flour 375 g brown sugar 25 g cocoa 1 tsp baking soda pinch of salt powder sugar 2 medium eggs 200 + 200 ml cream fresh strawberries 1. Heat oven to 180°C. Grease and line the base of a 20cm cake tin. Put the butter and 75g chocolate broken into chunks in a small pan and gently heat, stirring until completely melted. 2. Mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa and baking soda with a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk

the eggs and cream. Scrape the melted chocolate mixture and egg mixture into the dry ingredients, add 100ml boiling water and whizz briefly with an electric whisk until the cake batter is lump free. 3. Divide the mixture into three parts, put each one separately into the tin and bake for 25 mins. To test they’re done, push in a skewer and check that it comes out clean. 4. Take strawberry syrup and drizzle little bit over the cakes. When the cakes are cool whisk the remaining cream and the powder sugar together until softly whipped. Spread over two of the cakes and then spoon over the strawberries. Stack the cakes together. Spread the cream over the third cake and put on top of the other cakes. Pile the fresh strawberries in and around the cake and serve.

There are a few days in the year when every woman hopes that this might be just her BIG day. The day, when the love of her life asks her to marry him.

St. Valentine’s Day is one of them. Because of love glances, sweet words and love notes usually lead to the proposals and a proposal is followed with planning of a fabulous wedding day, we decided to show you one of these days. Every girl’s dream is to get a little turquoise box with the legendary Tiffany & Co. sign at least once in her life. We will make this dream real, at least partly. You can dip into the beautiful emerald color of the diamond on the Tiffany

Legacy ring. And of course, when we speak about engagement, we can´t forget the legendary design of the Tiffany Setting engagement ring. The color of this year is officially a beautiful Emerald. It is incredibly strong color, but not distracting. Looking at this color will settle peace in your mind. In combination with a delicate pink we created the perfect atmosphere for an intimate dinner for the two in love.

What did you want to be when you were a little girl? I called my mother to help me to recall and answer this question. She said I wanted to be a confectioner/baker just like my granny. And nearly everybody in my family can bake cakes. But my father remembers me always digging the earth and dreaming to be a florist. What led you to flowers, flower design and weddings? My journey had been set very early. I studied at the gardening school, flower arrangement, and then continued at the college. And how did I get to weddings? Right when I started my own business. Flowers are a part of every single wedding and I can’t imagine it any other way. Flowers are an inseparable part of a wedding. What is your favourite part of the decoration? The church decoration I guess. It’s very rare in our country; the brides mostly find it unnecessary. So these moments are really precious. I love the atmosphere of a silent and peaceful church. What are your favourite flowers to work with? Different one every six months. These days I fell in love with pink colour and rose Avant Garde. And I like to work

with nearly anything. Do you prefer to work due to order or freely? I like the most when the client comes and trusts me that much to let me a free hand. What do you consider to be your greatest success so far? I think the greatest success is still waiting for me. There is always a lot to improve, to be better and better. A great success is that our flower shop has been opened for 8 years, thanks to my family and my perfect employees. What would be your perfect day like? All alone, my feet on the table, cabin in the woods, French Alps maybe, at least one meter of snow outside, bunch of tulips, cell phone turned off and no access to the internet. What are the trends for the next wedding season? I’m not a trend-follower. I merely count on my instinct, and it whispers that my favourite pink will be trendy. Together with traditional flowers and lace. Spring brings tulips, ranunculus and aromatic hyacinths. For more information: Flowers & Living
