On behalf of Airports Council International (ACI), I wish to extend our sincere congratulations to you and your team at Cairo International Airport in becoming accredited by the ACI Public Health & Safety Readiness Accreditation program.
After reviewing the evidence presented during the program’s evaluation process, your airport has successfully proven the implementation of proactive management practices to ensure a safe airport experience for all travellers, including the level of readiness to manage future public health and safety disruptive events. This is in line with the recommended health measures established in the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery guidelines, the ICAO Council Aviation Recovery Task Force recommendations, as well as with the industry’s best practices.
Likewise, I wish to inform you that this accreditation is valid for the next three years, starting on 15 February 2023.
The ACI Public Health & Safety Readiness Accreditation program has been designed to help airports assess the level of alignment of their public health and safety measures as well as the degree of readiness to manage future public health and safety disruptive events. We feel confident that your efforts will help us succeed in achieving this common goal.
