We have a plethora of monochrome graphic prints on offer this season, Marc Cain and Michael Kors maximise the trend with enlarged spots and motifs, while 360 Sweater offer understated stripe and block colour cashmere. Nicole Farhi presented colourful knitwear this season that will earn your fashion stripes for many seasons to come, alternatively, restrict an outfit to monochrome separates to encapsulate this trend minus the pattern, add bright accents and keep the silhouette sharp for a true modernist spring look.

THE TREND REPORT - SPRING/SUMMER ‘13
Step into spring lightly with soft hues... Pastels may be the enduring spring trend but this year sharper silhouettes and clean lines differentiate the seasonal favourite. Candy coloured but not too sweet, the muted ice cream tones allude an air of confidence and pure sensibility. The silhouette should be kept modern, easy and flawless - choose an expertly tailored pale print Equipment silk shirt (Lynne Rose or Brett Rose), look to Versace for a signature showstopping white party dress or skirt suit or Armani Collezioni for an exquisite semi-sheer blouse.
To fully capture the pastel trend select a head-to-toe ensemble of similar shades or make a statement with the expertly proportioned Moschino Cheap and Chic peach dress. (shown opposite)

Opt for classic white for the ideal transitional wardrobe piece or ivory shades if you prefer sandy tones, why not let one of our expert stylists find the right pair for you this summer...
