The Clothesline Project is a program that addresses the issue of violence against women. It is a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. They then hang the shirt on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of violence against women.

A massage session is one way to decrease stress and relax during a hectic school or work day. Campus Recreation and Employee Wellness are dedicated to providing you healthy ways to unwind or de-stress and want to provide a holistic wellness environment for the entire YSU community! Campus Recreation is teaming up with massage therapist Jessica Johnson and is excited to announce that massages will be offered to YSU students, faculty, staff, and affiliate members on campus. Submit photos of you and your friends doing any of The YSU Bucket List’s “52 Things to Do While You’re a Penguin!” You could win prizes, see your photos in the Fall Semester Student Experience Calendar and on social media, and even in the hallways of Kilcawley Center! The contest runs January 12 through April 15, 2016. Enter as often as you like! Two prizes will be awarded. Best Photo and Most Photos Selected for inclusion in the Fall Student Experience Calendar. Each of the two prize winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to the YSU Bookstore and a framed print of your photo! Contest entries are due 5:00pm, Friday, April 15. To enter, email your photos to klleeper@ysu.edu along with your name, YSU Banner number (required for prize distribution), daytime phone number, and YSU email address. Note which item you are checking off your list in the photos. Shoot and submit photos at the highest resolution possible. This will increase the chances of us publishing your work!
