DON’T MISS THIS STUNNING NEW PRODUCTION OF AN AMERICAN MASTERPIECE One of the finest works of one of the greatest Twentieth Century dramatists, The Glass Menagerie was Tennessee Williams’ first great Broadway success. Tom, a young would-be poet, struggles to support his overbearing and sentimental mother and his delicate, obsessive sister. The subject of this deeply touching, autobiographical play is the most fragile of all human emotions – hope.

Staff Recommends Chris Clay – Head of Production ‘Transforming the Young Vic is always an exciting challenge. . The whole team are looking forward to creating an inspiring setting for this masterpiece.’

The Maria monday 27 September – Saturday 9 October A Fevered Sleep / Young Vic co-production in association with Fuel

A show for adults, performed by children From the moment we’re born, we’re growing, we’re ageing. Nothing ever stays the same. As an empty room is filled with hundreds of memories, a group of extraordinary performers create a journey through life over the course of a show. With the energy, joy and brutal honesty that comes only from children, On Ageing turns a sequence of images, ideas and emotions into a visual poem that stretches back to the past and out into the future. Fevered Sleep has an international reputation for devising bold and experimental work that is both playful and profound. get wet with this wonderfully watery show The creators of Brilliant and The Forest return with a show about drips, drops and downpours. Created especially for 3 and 4 year olds, And the Rain Falls Down is a visually stunning celebration of the watery things of the world. Imagine a place where rainbows form from umbrellas, where fountains spout from plugholes, and where eventually the rain really does fall down! There are opportunities to get wet: if your child wants to join in, please bring a change of clothing and a towel. Changing areas will be provided.

Staff Recommends Alex Brierley – Schools and Colleges Project Manager ‘Fevered Sleep shows are always so imaginative and playful. Watching the amazed faces in the audience is almost as pleasurable as the show!’
