HELLO WILDBLUE RESIDENTS,
Spring is the season of beginnings and an ideal time for exploring new home options or refreshing your current surroundings. We hope you will find inspiration as you explore the latest collection of distinctive homes, contemporary design trends and innovative products and services in this edition of YOUR HOME.
A renewed focus on quality of life continues to bring buyers from around the US to the Paradise Coast. Two of the key indicators for upcoming market trends are supply and average number of days properties stay on the market. While the inventory in SWFL is still low, DOM (days on market) has increased. Despite the impact of Hurricane Ian, our local real estate market continues to outperform national averages. Our prices have been holding steady or declining just slightly, but their direction for Q3 and Q4 of 2023 is undetermined. We are transitioning from the strong seller’s market of the last few years to a balanced market.
Sellers who list now will capture the advantage of Spring market momentum to tap the value of their equity while buyer demand and prices both remain high. The season will also bring fresh opportunities for buyers who will see their options expand as more homes are listed.
Our team of experts is ready to help you to discover your own real estate possibilities. Orchid is committed to helping buyers to find their SWFL dream and dedicated to selling homes in our community for top prices.
From our family to yours, best wishes!

hether you have tried to sell your home before and it didn’t sell or you are now thinking about it, there are very good and profitable reasons to consider it now.
Tax Advantages – Flexible work environments and FL state income tax advantages continue to drive relocation and potential buyers to SW Florida.
Already Low Inventory – Our SW FL inventory is even lower after the storm as many of these properties that were for sale have been destroyed or damaged. Low inventory means higher demand for your property.
Steady Pricing – Due to low inventory, your property price should remain steady and the highest it’s been ever.
Higher Demand in Certain Areas – In the aftermath of Ian, many buyers have renewed focus. They are shopping for a property in your location and away from the coastline.
Renewed Focus – Trade Up or Cash Out. Now is a great time to capture the value of your equity to upgrade to a new home or cash out.
