We can safely say that spring is here – mainly because the official first day of spring has passed, but also because the weather seems to be changing for the better (touchwood) and the big coats are getting put at the back of the wardrobe. We’re into April now, and that means light jackets, dresses, shorts and t-shirts. Not all at the same time though, unless you saw something we didn’t at York Fashion Week. Of course, the other sign that spring has arrived is the impending arrival of the Easter bunny. The chocolate eggs are being formed as we speak (and you can watch this happening for yourself at York’s Chocolate Story); the Easter trails are being prepared; and craft fairs all over will be opening their doors. If you’re ready to see our glorious city bloom into action, check out our events section on pages 6-14. You can also discover even more things to do in and around York on our website: www.whatsoninyork.com!
