Christmas brings the most magical events to York, and we’re sure you’re going to be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing how to spend your time in the city. THE YORK MINSTER CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL,

York Minster, 10am-7pm daily (except Christmas Day). The new festival will take place in a festive marquee by the South Piazza and features over 30 trees decorated by local businesses, schools, and charities. You can also visit the activity marquee to write your own Christmas message on a tag which will be added to a tree at the festival, or inside the cathedral’s East End.
